The quick answer to all the names put up already, or this evening, or next week, or ever ever ever, is a resounding NO, thankyou.

For me it’s Mrs Column or it’s no-one. End of. 8)

I’m a serial monogamist, Corm, even in thought… which makes me either a paragon of virtue, or extremely dull. 8)

And she bought me some horse racing books for Valentine’s Day. Why go (or think) elsewhere?

Chuck in a few references to the Lord and I believe you might still have a crack at the Republican Party nomination :D

Not passing any judgement here but just throwing something into the ring for discussion.

How would fourumites feel if it was their wife / girlfriend / partner / sister (delete as applicable) was the subject of a thread such as this?

That’s a good point Paul and whilst this thread does not offend me, I do think it is very schoolboyish.

    Isn’t this just a bit of harmless fun/banter ??? :D

When the choices so far are Deirdre Barlow and Moira Stewart, ‘fun’ is the furthest thing from my mind.

    Grass – :D Couldn’t agree more.

I tell you what’s interesting. Half of me finds this kind of sexist, racist, ististist, discriminatory tomfoolery amusing. A bit of a larf. I want to throw in a few bizarre options of my own. I want to see how far we can descend in the quest for that perfect comedy moment.

The other half of me finds it grossly offensive. I have to resist the compulsion to report the threadstarter to the forum Politburo.

I’m split down the middle. It’s neck and neck in the final furlong and you couldn’t call it. Is this a common dilemma? Am I alone?

Please feel free to channel surf past this pause-for-thought opportunity. :D

Ladies – there is hope for us all.

…would someone kindly put up Ann Widdecombe, so at least I know I’m in with a shout.

KCC – I’m not taking part in this thread unless you’re going to self-impose a NO EDIT rule.

I’m genuinely worried that you’ll put up someone delicious and then once I’ve said ‘Oh yes’ you’ll replace it with Elton John or Beverley Callard…

I will say yes to Gemma Atkinson now just in case I’m not around when you ask about her.
