Hi all, having just come of the Sky Sports Website i see that we have got Croatia in our group again, a chance to right the wrong from Wednesday perhaps? :lol :) :

Any one got ant thoughts on that or other teams.

I think Holland will be a tough opponent, but I’m glad we avoided Italy and France. Also gald to avoid Ukraine who looked the best out of that pot.

The two nordic teams will probably suit us better tactically than eastern european teams.

Macedonia look tricky as I thought they looked fairly comfortable in their 2 recent games against England.

All in all, a hell of a lot easier than our last group! … and a top 2 finish looks a reasonable target.

England’s draw was quite obviously fixed. It had to be. I think England should manage second place this time round. Surely?

I think Scotland and R.O.I. should have a good chance of qualifying from their respective groups, though Norway will prove difficult opponents for the new Scottish manager’s team.

I think Wales and Northern Ireland will fail to qualify, though obviously I hope I’m wrong.

Ireland have no chance of qualifying from that group and even if they claim one of the top 2 spots, they will fail in the playoff.

It’s a good draw for England. If they don’t qualify then they don’t deserve any sympathy – just as in the Euro qualifiers. They were bound to be pitted against at least one team (perhaps more) capable of beating them.
