Because it’s all available for free on Sportinglife.com so nobody was bothering with RUK’s clunky web site?

I bothered with it
February 11, 2011 at 15:09 #339893I used it.
Shame that it is no longer on their website, it was a good feature.
February 11, 2011 at 19:26 #339933You can still watch the races on the site through their results service, but there really is no need with the SL video service that can also be accessed on Sky Sports website.
July 11, 2012 at 14:43 #22232Just to say what fantastic coverage from RUK today at Catterick. As some of you know I have heavily criticized some of the presenters, however today has been a real joy to watch. Lets hope it holds for the Newmarket meeting! cheers ruk
November 7, 2013 at 18:17 #25041Gone and changed their services and now you have to subscribe to be able to view the race replays. Thanks a lot. <!– s:x –>
<!– s:x –>November 7, 2013 at 18:35 #457553Aren’t they freely available on Sporting Life if you register with Skybet ?
November 7, 2013 at 19:39 #457563Never thought the racing review was free anyway
November 7, 2013 at 21:11 #457577Last time I checked Racing UK was a business, not a charity.
So why should they give their core product away for free?
Just be grateful the replays have been available for free up until now.

If you registered you could have access to replays

So why should they give their core product away for free?
Because ATR has a million times better website and shows its replays for free?
Because the replays (as suggested) can be obtained elsewhere at no cost.
Because in charging you are likely annoy some racing fans.
What a rather unfortunate ‘i’m alright jack’ attitude you seem to display.

Yes.

RUK’s online live transmission has been intermittent at best recently. This service is part of the monthly subscription fee I pay to them. Last time I looked I wasn’t a registered charity but I feel like it at present…handing over my monthly sub for poor service.
If I don’t like the service in Tesco’s I head to Sainburys. If I don’t like RUK’s service I can head to….RUK. Therein lies the problem….there is no alternative.
The email they sent to subscribers today regarding the new service arrangements was confusing at best.
November 8, 2013 at 00:51 #457613As a suscriber for racing uk online I am currently unable to access the service. They have introduced the changes before sending out details to subscribers as to what to do when the existing login details no longer work.
Bit like last week really – money paid and no serviceNovember 8, 2013 at 06:19 #457619Racing UK have got too big and powerful in UK Racing they have all the top courses so can do as they wish.
They just want everything they tried for Irish Racing if they had got that they would have just about taken over everything.
The only way to show them you are unhappy is to get together with other subscribers and cancel your subscription for a month hit them where it hurts.
I really am surprised RUK and ATR have been allowed to be so dominant when the next round of tv rights come up it should be looked at by monopolies commission.

But I don’t bet so not really what I’d want to do.
I don’t watch the RacingUK replays very often I admit, but I did like having the option to do so. Oh well, just something I’ll have to do without.
Didn’t you get an e-mail telling you the service was changing? I did yesterday which is why I went to the site to find out more. My e-mail says subscribers should get another e-mail soon telling them what to do.
steveh31, who else do you think would want to broadcast racing? We’ve already seen the Beeb pull out, ITV have never been interested nor C5. I very much doubt any of the other satellite channels are either and if they were it would most likely be an extra subscription service like RUK.

I don’t bet with skybet either, however I registered to enter the free Sky Super6 competition and I can see the replays using the same user id and password.
November 8, 2013 at 09:26 #457626If you don’t bet with them within a period of a year or depending on their T@C’s then they will probably close down your account as dormant?
