Meshaheer, as your well placed could you put your finger on why Cameron is taking so much stick from the right wingers in his party. He’s made the party electable again, has stated modern day policies to make Briain better, whether they be to the left or right, so why are these people in his own party content on damaging him when ultimately they know they’ll just end up with another Iain Duncan Smith? I feel for the guy at the moment because I believe he’s a top luminary who could change this coutry for the better.
I can’t remember precisely who it was, possibly Dave Jay, who summed up Cameron’s dilemma impeccably on one of the other thread in this ‘ere lounge about a month ago. The thrust of it was that the guy has far too broad a church to try to unify, but I’m hardly doing it justice saying just that.
I’m a bit busy to go wading through the bowels of the Lounge just now, but I think it was posted in the "Poll: Brown or Cameron?" thread, and is well worth the proverbial entry money.

Good job there! I’m at this moment drinking a Earl Grey with a hint of Morrocan Mint
September 13, 2007 at 12:30 #114741That sounds delicious. I’m mostly drinking Lady Grey these days but I may give that a try.

Lady Grey is very nice
I have tried quite a few teas over here as there’s such a variety and have about 6 different types on my desk – you have to drink a lot of fluid over here so I drink teas!
Another favourite is Jasmine Dragon Phoenix and the Pomegranate Blueberry which is really refreshing!
Green tea is good too, especially the really good Japanese variety from the Uji region of Kyoto. It’s amazing but a little hard to find sometimes.September 13, 2007 at 14:47 #114759NHS Payroll Officer – hateful job since some bright spark installed the new NHS computer system. It was obviously never trialled on a Trust with 14,000.00 employees
.September 13, 2007 at 18:10 #114801hi reetpetite,
nice to talk to you. Now that’s a name from the past I recall from just a few years ago wasn’t it? a 2 yo filly, can’t remember who trained it.??sorry you don’t like your job, not many people seem to do these days which is such a shame. Can it only get better?? no…

KT/Aranalde,
fellow tea drinkers. I love Earl Grey and rarely drink anything else. Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference brand has a good enough flavour, no need for milk. I also enjoy white and green tea. I’ll have to search out those you mention, but I get this white tea that comes from China’s north Fujian province, quite delicate. It’s called Organic Swirling Mist – probably get it anywhere
September 13, 2007 at 23:04 #114853I love tea but have found the herbal tea’s are great smelling but tbh when you taste them you might as well stick your head down the toilet and see what you get.
Stick to the Earl Grey, Darjeeling etc.
September 14, 2007 at 10:46 #114906Jasmine Dragon Phoenix, Pomegranate Blueberry and Organic Swirling Mist. I have never come across these but they sound worth buying for the name alone. Clearly I am an amateur in these matters. I will head for the tea section of Sainsburys this weekend.
I can also sympathise with the terrible computer system – I work in a less critical area of public service but our system is held together by cellotape, meccano and witchcraft. We lose so much time fiddling about with the damn things that it would be more efficient to go back to forms in triplicate.
September 14, 2007 at 16:25 #114945Oh well I’m probably one of the easiest targets: I work for the Conservatives

Sorry for your troubles. (Target, Take Aim, Fire)

…or you could try ordering from:
click the ‘Tea’ button
I would particularly recommend the ‘Ceylon Blue Sapphire’, ‘Darjeeling Single Estate’ (pricey but sublime) and ‘South African Kwazulu’ in the ‘Black Leaf Tea’ section.
…or if you ever venture oop north you could treat yourself to a lazy afternoon sampling them in one of Bettys magnificent Cafe Tea Rooms:

I never thought I’d find tea afficianados (sp

that Darjeeling Estate sounds very intriguing!
This where we go for ‘afternoon tea’ on a Sunday
September 15, 2007 at 10:20 #115088TRF really is in decline..
I remember when this place was for discussion of horse racing. Now it becomes more like the the Betfair forum every week. An influx of new members intent on filling the place with hundreds of meaningless posts does little for the quality of debate this place was once known for.
Maybe people like yourself Wallace are the problem with TRF, always taking the moral high ground while looking down on anyone who starts a topic that doesn’t suit your superior intellect.
A wide diversity of opinions is what a forum should be about, wether you agree with them or not. I think the forum has improved lately, mostly because of the influx of new members, who don’t get their knickers in a twist over horse ratings and speed figures
September 15, 2007 at 11:39 #115102Best of luck with your route into Anarchism Nixer.
Just try and steer away from the Class War morons. They like to beat up Yuppies and leave them lying in pools of blood

Don’t quite fancy that fate myself, although I’m not sure if they’ve got angry enough to beat up women yet.
September 15, 2007 at 13:01 #115117Thanks for the tip Mesh.
Using violence against people because they don’t believe in what you believe in!!!!

Thats it. Im turning English Conservative , possibly with a slight leaning towards American Republicanism. My association with pools of innocent blood will be a thing of the past.

In anyways, me mammy would kill me if she heard I had been hanging around beating women up.
