Didcot’s effort in the FA Cup against Poole was quite pelasing given they have suffered 6-0 and 7-3 defeats in the league this season. Used to watch them regular when I lived in the town. Sadly I’m in Poole next week rather than this week, otherwise I’d have taken in the replay. Hope to pick up a non-league game in the London area next Saturday.

Some nice ties here in the FA Cup Second Qualifying round to be played the weekend of Sept 13th.

Taunton get a nice draw home to Western Super Mare
Banbury get an away trip to the winners of Worcester City/Chasetown
Gosport Borough have a home tie and drawn the winners of Didcot Town/ Poole Town
    Radcliffe draw Southport.

    Tough draw that for Taunton
Weston have started the season in very decent nick
at least Taunton have the home draw so that gives them more of a chance

Slight deviation here, Northants to beat Surry tonight, hoping for a lot of rain and a slog match.

Ravi Bopara turning back the years
Now that’s a competitive score especially so with the scoreboard pressure
Surrey bat strong and deep but will have to
    Come on Northants

aside note if Somerset win their QF game on Saturday then there will be a clash the week after on Finals day
Somerset if winning will hopefully be the 1st semi final which starts at 11 then I can dash to Taunton Town top see the FA Cup match vs Weston then dash home in time for the final… of course I don’t want to jink it and Somerset could go out but you have to plan ahead. Knowing my luck Somerset will get the 2nd Semi Final ..

Reading V Northampton, postponed due to International call ups.
Austrian Bundasliga 2 No fixtures due to International break.

So that just leaves the two non league matches
    Aldershot V Brackley H 6/4 D 23/10 A 13/8
    AFC Sudbury V Banbury H 15/8 D 5/2 A 11/10

Aldershot have scored 20 and conceded 15 in seven league matches, while Brackley have scored 6 and conceded 6 in six matches.
Afc Sudbury have scored 3 and conceded 13 in five and in Banburys 5 so far its 10 and 6 against.

Could be anything in the correct score markets,
    Brackley to win 2-1 2@17/2
    Banbury to win 2-1 2@7/1
    Double 1@75/1

As a saver type, both matches to be draws 1.85@10.55

    -6.85
    Ongoing -5
