Objective is to try and stick to just betting on Cobblers, Brackley Town, Kapfenberg and very occasionally Banbury United.
Cobbs have made many changes to the squad for league one, but cant compete with teams at the top in wage demands.
Brackley, have made some shrude signings in the National League
Kapfenburg had a great finish to last season but their website is in German, but me mate says..they will be up there.
Banbury United, new manager Keven Langmead, could do well. No new take over so still fan owned. Its July, so the Austrian Cup kicks off this weekend.
Kapfenberg away to Dinamo Helfort, just a small dabble on a correct score. The cup comp in Austria always has the lowest ranked team playing at home, FA take note.
2@ 14s for a 4-1 away win.
-2 to start.July 26, 2025 at 19:27 #1736875Oh dear, my buddy forgot to say the budget for KSV this year has been reduced.
The Manager and his staff have left, the main striker has been sold.
Looking like a team to oppose through the season now.
-2 already..roll on Cobbs first match away to Wigan, who signed Dara Costello from Burnley in the summer. The same guy that was on loan at the cobbs from January this year.July 31, 2025 at 19:12 #1737383Cobbs still to sign a striker..
Plenty of strength in defence..Anyway Friday night KSV are home to Admiral Wacker, expecting a few goals and an away win.
Add that too my zero expectations for Cobbs trip to Wigan on Saturday Ill pop in a some correct score doubles.
KSV1919 V Admiral Away wins 0-3 @ 11s 1-4 18s
Wigan V Cobbs Home wins 3-0 20s 3-1 20s
4x doubles @1 = 4Costelloe cost Wigan a few quid from Burnley after his good loan at Cobbs.
Costelloe first goal 5@6s
Costelloe first goal and Wigan 2-0 1@50s
Wigan Home win 8s@5/4Total 18

I see Cork all Star a regular on your thread last season hasn’t been on the forum for at least a couple of weeks. Hope all is well with him and he’s having a nice holidayCharles Darwin to conquer the World
August 3, 2025 at 19:12 #1737642Thanks Nathan, Cork was last seen at the open I believe, Im sure he will be back with his national league input.
August 3, 2025 at 19:37 #1737643So KSV1919 lost to Admiral Wacker 0-2 and Wigan beat cobbs 3-1..
blew the doubles on Friday night.Reports from mates at the Wigan game suggest it was not that bad an effort with a new defence. I watched the highlights and think they had the rose tinted glasses on. Wigan could have had 5 or 6, although its only the first match of the season, league two awaits for next season for the cobbs.
So the only wining bet was the 8 at 5/4 on Wigan to win. Returned 18.

August 11, 2025 at 17:22 #1737937Nothing returned, Saw the Cobbs highlights..no shot on target..
Brackley could have a decent season in the NL, and Banbury..blimey..they beat Stratford 0-3 Saturday..and Stratford beat Brackley 2-1 in a not so friendly the previous week..hmm..August 12, 2025 at 16:40 #1737946Northampton V Southampton, given its been a few years since Cobbs won either a FA Cup or League Cup match, Ill have a pop at 11/4 Cobbs to qualify.
4@11/4
Banbury V Worcester, after Saturday the 4/5 for the home win looks good.

Real Bedford are the money team and a few others have sugar daddies, but Kevin Langmead is a good new manager and things may happen.

Ongoing -26August 15, 2025 at 08:22 #1738001No returns from Tuesday, Cobbs did well to only loose by the one goal against Southampton.
Banbury were well on top in the first half v Worcester but only managed the one goal. Typical match of two halves with Worcester changing tactics and stifling the home sides attacking threat. The draw was a fair result according to the home supporters.August 15, 2025 at 08:39 #1738002Friday night KSV1919 V Lustenau. Home 12/5 Draw 12/5 Away 19/20.
Lustenau two wins from two this season, scoring 5 and none conceded, KSV Lost two from two none scored and four conceded.
Correct score away win 1-3 2@12sSaturday
Stevenage V Northampton Home 4/6 Draw 13/5 Away 9/2
Stevenage have had a good start to the season, I dont see that changing, Cobbs manager still spouting that the new players need time to get to know each other, bodes well for a home win.
Correct score home win 3-1 2@14sBanbury V Leiston Home 8/11 Draw 9/4 Away 7/2
Banbury will have learnt a lot from Tuesdays draw and Id expect a few goals in this match.
Banbury home win 4-1 2@33s0.5 Correct score Pat using above predictions. 3.5
Lustenau, Stevenage and Banbury treble 5@4.6

August 15, 2025 at 16:10 #1738008Just to add, Brackley were due to play Morecambe away Saturday, which has been postponed due to their ongoing ownership issues.
Just to keep the lads fit, they played in the National League Cup last Tuesday and managed a 2-0 home win over Blackburn Rovers. Dont know much about this comp but, Brackley have more home matches against Man U Burnley and Everton. Shame its all under 21s..Should be some decent attendances for these.
Next up for the Saints is away to Yeovil Wednesday night.CAS if your reading, Southport bottom NPLN wont last long..
August 16, 2025 at 14:20 #1738092Nothing last night, but a win for KSV 1-0.

Nolan seems to still believe in the team, I think the team dont believe in him.
Talks a lot, but relegation is certainty under him.
Just a note to Nolan, Steve Evans is free..
August 18, 2025 at 18:27 #1738246Tuesday Northampton V Lincoln..H 12/5 D 9/4 A 6/5
