Tom runs in the 3m1f Handicap Chase, Campbell will ride as Pete is going to Uttoxeter for 3 rides for Lucinda and 1 spare, although it would be good to keep Pete on Tom I did suggest that he goes to Uttoxeter for Pena Dorada as Campbell is at Wetherby for Safari Ventures.
The race looks like a typical northern chase, a race you could run 6 times and have 6 different winners.
Wide Receiver is the obvious danger after he demolished a 0-95 field last time, he received 20lbs for that win and needs to improve again to win, something he could do under Charlie Longsdens guidance.
As for Tom, he has pleased us on 3 of his 4 runs for us so far, and if turns up in the same form as his last run (3rd, beaten 10 lengths off a 127 rated horse in a novice when wrong at weights) he should give a good account of himself.
