With the kind permission of David Cormack I’d like to give a small plug to Westhill Racing Partnerships, formed recently by myself and a friend who are mad keen on their horses.
We are hoping to find some like minded racing enthuiasts to share in the success (and dreams) of racehorse ownership with Boundaries, a 4yo gelding trained by Tim Easterby.
Boundaries has got winning form, he goes on any ground, he’s able to run every week, he’s well handicapped and he’s cheap….the Perfect Partnership horse!
He was gelded mid summer last year which put his season on the back burner. His last run was at Ponte when he was 5th after being drawn in the car park (stall 17). Paul Hanagan rode him that day and was impressed by him. Even better the handicapper dropped him 2lbs so we start the new season on a good mark!
The Boundaries partnership will all be about fun, enjoyment and hopefully sharing some success with like minded individuals who are into their racing and want to be involved in the ownership experience at an affordable cost.
Our background is as partners in Striking Spirit (Royal Ascot placed twice) who we sold in October last year. We’ve also got shares in Euston Square (trained by Alistair Whillans) who won twice for us last season and has scope for improvement in 2012. We can’t guarantee future but hopefully our track record gives an indicator of our plans for Boundaries this season.
Rest assured we know the ins and outs of managing partnerships and dealing with all the ownership admin that comes our way via Weatherbys.
All the relevant information is on the website (http://www.westhillracingpartnerships.co.uk) but feel free to ask away via The Racing Forum or by PM.
We’ve a 20% discount on the Initial Lump Sum until end January.
It’s a good time to get involved as Boundaries is just stepping up his work in advance of the new season.
Thanks again to David Cormack.
Regards,
NeilApril 1, 2012 at 18:33 #399078Our new horse, Boundaries, has done very well over the winter and is ready for a run. The plan is to go for a 5f race at Musselburgh next Sunday 8th April. He’s a well handicapped horse who we feel has an improvement in him now he’s been gelded.
We have shares still available so if anyone is interested drop me a mail. We are a small partnership made of like minded racing enthuiasts. A quality racing experience is our objective.
For any TRF’s that may fancy a "trial run" in ownership give me a shout and we can arrange a meet up next Sunday at Musselburgh. I’m hoping both our trainers will be in attendance to discuss the new flat season and their 5 to follow for the season.
April 2, 2012 at 10:52 #399119Best of luck this year with him. It looks like he’s back down to a winning mark. Perhaps you could let us know when he’s due to be ridden from the front?
April 2, 2012 at 16:21 #399136Thanks Tuffers – have you any horses going this flat season?
Re Boundaries I was reviewing his previous races on video again at the weekend and he could be one to take to the likes of Chester and Catterick.

I’m sure Tim will place him to advantage.
Carter’s ready to roll for us. He was due to make his seasonal debut at Warwick on Monday but we won’t run him on firm ground.
April 2, 2012 at 21:03 #399174Good luck to you Tuffers with Carter this season.
It’s currently a white out where I am. If the forecast is correct it’s moving south this week so hopefully you’ll get your ground sooner than later.
