Is Wenger a top class manager, or is he not?
His record over the past 9 years would suggest not. Top of the table after 6 games and 2 CL wins count for nothing at this stage of proceedings and despite playing very well they will still be vulnerable defensive with the players they have in that department but nothing is impossible and they stand a better chance then previous years.

December 8, 2013 at 13:09 #461294Good luck with that one, can a team win the league if it loses four games by mid November, to the likes of Cardiff, Villa and Sunderland?
December 17, 2013 at 11:59 #462021Who do you think will replace Wenger? When such a genius is in charge it will always be tough to follow suit look at Ferguson and United and Wenger is no spring chicken. It’s ok building for the future but it wont be his unless he lives to the ripe old age of 163.

December 17, 2013 at 16:34 #462040Always thought Jurgen Klopp could be the man to replace Wenger, brilliant tactician and has an eye for youth players. Plays attacking football and try’s to dominate games with possession. Steve Bould could step up from the assistants chair, don’t know too much about him except he has little managerial experience but has played for Arsenal and came through as head youth coach. I only doubt whether Klopp would leave Dortmund for London, unlikely in the foreseeable future.
Would be interesting to see what prices the bookies would offer, they’d probably have someone like Klinsmen as favourite.

February 8, 2014 at 14:42 #467523and before his latest outburst, it was an attack on Liverpool by saying Arsenal fans are lucky they could support L’pool.

5-1 defeat and still won nothing, could be worse Wenger you could finish 5th……….

Yes, it looks like they just did just that.
Oh and the league doesn’t lie it’s not like a lucky cup team so L’pool and Rogers(2nd season in charge, should have stayed at Swansea, fav for the sack etc) are better than Arsenal and stability 100 year plan Wenger.
Mug……..
