Yeah, he won’t be running in the Arkle
February 29, 2024 at 21:37 #1682988American Mike for me here. He only has an entry for this race. Second in the Champion Bumper two years ago. Over hurdles he was quite poor, but back over fences he has shown his class again. He has beaten Fact to File over this distance. At Christmas he made a big mistake in Faugheen Novice Chase, I think you can forget that run. Last month he won quite easily over 3 miles against Nick Rockett en Minella Cocooner. There is not really a standout horse in this race and who knows what American Mike can do.
American Mike 16/1 NRNB
March 7, 2024 at 21:55 #1683921Unfortunately American Mike has been supplemented for the 3m novice chase.
March 9, 2024 at 09:07 #1684102Dan Skelton has said it’s almost certain that Grey Dawning comes here.
March 9, 2024 at 09:23 #1684107Got to be better than 50% chance a GD will win this..
Value Is EverythingMarch 10, 2024 at 09:54 #1684313Josh Guerriero is on Luck On Sunday at the moment and sounds pretty confident about Iroko. Jockey not confirmed yet, but probably Jonjo.
March 10, 2024 at 09:55 #1684314That’s a pity. I was hoping they might put someone else up.
March 12, 2024 at 12:24 #1684801Sharjah around 25’s just now, and I’ll add him here to the four places. I’m actually more interested in him for The Topham, so a quiet run into fourth would do me. I’ll take bigger than 25’s if I see it.
Iroko 14’s
Sharjah 25’s EW4PlsMarch 13, 2024 at 23:06 #1685642Duty bound to back my TTF horse Facile Vega here, though it will take a repeat of the training performance that got Gaelic Warrior to rebound after his Leopardstown experience to get FV to win.
After a season spent fretting about not wanting to train his darling too hard, I think Willie took the kid gloves off after the DRF and put him to work, so it’s Baghdad or bust.March 14, 2024 at 09:38 #1685742I think Grey Dawning should be outright favourite here. I’d fancy him to reverse the form with Ginny’s Destiny and he really looked a horse on the improve last time, for all that Apple Away didn’t exactly frank the form on Tuesday. Iroko is a horse I like but I doubt he’s had an ideal prep given he was supposedly out for the season at one point. Even on his best novice hurdle form he probably has a bit to find. Facile Vega could easily win if he puts in an improved jumping display but that department is a worry for him. The Irish Arkle form was held up reasonably well on Tuesday but the pair from that race were no match for Gaelic Warrior at the same time. For all that he is likely to stay, until he actually dors it there must remain a question mark there too. There are no doubts for Grey Dawning on that front.
March 14, 2024 at 10:37 #1685761Bet365 go 1/1 Grey Dawning and Facile Vega combined
that will do for me
I like Grey Dawning but also worth noting that Mullins does seem to get Facile Vega to Cheltenham in good form. He was poor in the Irish Arkle but even worse in the DRF last year and Willie got him back, just ran into Marine Nationale. He’ll love the going and I don’t see the distance being any problem although he still has to prove it. He certainly needs to jump better.
Happy to take on Ginny’s Destiny with a few mummering’s about Nicholls string mixing it with Hendo’s and Stay away Fay having a bad scopeBlackbeard to conquer the World
March 14, 2024 at 10:59 #1685772I bet trainers won’t use racecourse gallops as much in the future unless they’re the only trainer participating.
Value Is EverythingMarch 14, 2024 at 11:55 #1685816Djelo @30s for me, way overpriced
Nicholls current form is rotten, i really fancied Ginnys to run away with it, but stable forms terrible currently
GD, is better over further IMO
You couldnt be backing FV at those prices, insanity regardless of what he does, has to be a lay
Iroko- no chance
Zanahiyr could run well at a price, still only 7,
March 14, 2024 at 11:59 #1685822Ante post I’m really hoping we really see what Facile can do , e.w I’m happy to see money about for Zanayhar , few saying he’s more exposed than the others , he’s exposed as a very good horse
March 14, 2024 at 12:05 #1685826Facile Vega to win.
Doubled up with Envoi Allen, in a separate bet, as well.
Couldnt resist small wagers on
Zanahiyr and Letsbeclearaboutit.March 14, 2024 at 13:16 #1685874I have a little ew on Letsbeclearaboutit too Wilts, he jumps pretty well and trip should be no problem.
March 14, 2024 at 13:21 #1685879Facile Vega 5-1 ew AP, Ginnys Destiny 9-1 ew AP. Good luck all.
