On Saturday I only had one winner which I took 9/2, instead of William Hills later reported price of 11/2 so I was negative 0.50 instead of positive 0.50
However one long shot nearly worked out and fair warning to all (inc Ginger)

Yes, but if I was in a betting shop I would be handing out £6 for 6 bets at £1 each. I would get back £5.50 which is £4.50 winnings plus £1 stake money for my winning bet.

I was -1.5 behind before this weekend.
With one winner @ 7/2 (+3.5) and another @ 8/1 (+8) and 13 losers. 11.5 – 13 = -1.5. Exactly what it should’ve been.Today I had one winner @ 11/4 +2.75 with no losers. So my Sunday total should be

not +3.75. (If you call it 3.75 instead of +2.75 you’re going to get in a right fix, because what happens to -(minus) scores in that situation?

Whether you calculate scores as above or include both stakes with the return and in the bets as: Saturday my 9 horses backed had one 9/2 (5.5) and one 4/1 (5) = 5.5 + 5 = 10.5 returned – all stakes (incl stakes of winners
) so 10.5 -9 =

. The two ways of calculating profit should work out the same.
ie If you do calculations by calling my 1 winning bet today @ 11/4

Cormack assumes early prices are laid to 1pt win regardless of how many zeroes follow the unit; and furthermore offers to police ‘price taken
; and further, furthermore offers to do so with an errant clock 1pt Win at SP
: it really is quite simple. Doesn’t tell the whole tale but a fair tale, Pricewise too
