Well done to Middle of March, who won got the National Winner, and also to Tommy who got the runner up points.
Yanworth and Finians Oscar were the other scorers, and Fantastic Fair Along stretches well clear at the top, having Yanworth as star horse.

Nice return from Augusta Kate on Sunday, and she scored for Rocky, while Jenkins scored for a few of you as well.
Slowmotion scored on Easter Monday for BigG, but pride of place went to THM, who landed The Irish National with Our Duke. Tommy gets a nice return, and Our Duke is a really nice spot from him, very impressive winner and he’s the only player to have selected him. A good day altogether for Tommy, with Samcro landing the last.

Slowmotion 17.3Only 6 days left in the competition, and Fantastic Fair Along is going to be very difficult to peg back. I haven’t had time to check the entries for the week, so no idea of the prospects of the chasing pack, but with lots of nice prizes at Punchestown and Sandown still to come, not to mention 3 Bonus Races still to go, who knows how it’ll look this time next week.

Seriously, it was great to see Cloudy Dream finally grab the victory he deserved. Hit the woodwork at Cheltenham and Aintree but showed his durability over the season to finish with a win at Ayr.
Yes Cloudy Dream finished with a flourish didn’t he? He was the one I enjoyed watching the most on Saturday even though I had nothing on the race. Lovely horse and a nice prospect for next season.
Without checking up on the entries for the remainder of the week, I can still say with some confidence that Fair Along is going to be a tad difficult to peg back here. The selection of Sizing John has been key, and it’s the same for Canford, who is now locked in a battle for 2nd place with GDC.
Great pick guys, and already our top scoring horse. Some going for a horse who wasn’t selected before the deadline. I picked him in the comp last year, and I’ll be amending the rules slightly tonight, so that I can get a few points from him this time around

Altior has been a star this season, and he kicked things off today at Sandown in The Celebration Chase. Too many of you to mention, but Inthestream has done well off of him, having him as Star Horse.
Apples Jade scored for a good few of you, and she’s ended up confirming her promise of last year.
Mark went agonisingly close with his star horse in the bonus race, but he will have to settle for the bonus points. Unlucky Mark.

Being a flat racing fan I can’t believe where I actually ended up, really enjoyed it and thank you to everyone concerned. JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Great competition VtC – and a huge thanks for all the effort. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my first outing on the TRF racecourse, and am delighted with the finishing place, especially given several of my selections never (or rarely) made it out of the stables!! Have a good summer’s holiday ‘out at grass’ VtC!
