As opinion polls are all the rage I thought we sould have one on here

I think we should forget any actual tactical voting and just poll who we would vote for in a national election.
I’ve enabled re-voting so if change your mind you can change your vote.
The poll closes on Thursday and it will be interesting to see if TRF reflects the mood of the nation.
May 2, 2010 at 15:59 #293641Socialist Alliance not included under Others…hmm
You’ve nailed your colours to the TRF mast methinks Pompete

Remiss of you to exclude the
Fill Fatty Salmond With Haggis And Give Him A Good Kicking Party
who are likely to hold the balance of power ‘south of the border’ come the 7th
Time for a change, you know it makes sense
May 2, 2010 at 16:04 #293643lol using the phrase ‘New’ Labour still. Withered and dying would be more accurate.
May 2, 2010 at 16:45 #293671Is the option…can’t be bothered voting for any because they are all full of false promises and lies and all as bad as each other…. counted under ‘others’?
May 2, 2010 at 16:50 #293674I’m voting against the anti David Cameron/Rupert Murdoch greed alliance Party and so will be supporting Gordon Brown.
Labour Party get my vote…

Before you turn away thinking, "Daily Mail", bound to be pro-Conservative, it isn’t: far from it.
Cameron would be shaking his fist in rage at the paper if he’s read it.May 2, 2010 at 21:22 #293788I’m voting against the anti David Cameron/Rupert Murdoch greed alliance Party and so will be supporting Gordon Brown.

May 4, 2010 at 07:32 #294043An exciting development from Tory HQ: David Cameron has sent some of you a personal message.

May 4, 2010 at 08:47 #294047Pompete, very good !

If only he could. I’d die one very happy man.

Though I think Mr Cameron is more pre-occupied with getting free school dinners for all public school boarders.
Ya, top ho !

The one I show off here on TRF is much too loose, and threadbare from years of ponderous scratching, as it belongs to a voluminous-bonced gambling gambolling gentleman who kindly lent it to me for the duration of his trip via a black hole to a higher dimension in the hope that when he returns I’ll be able to decipher his poetic though apparently random concatenation of words
Thanks Dave, much appreciated, though I would have preferred free Harris Tweed jackets and pink corduroy underpants
May 4, 2010 at 17:52 #294127Although Cameron is an insincere toff, I will be voting Tory because I really want a hung parliament and electoral reform.
On the other hand Brown is responsible for getting us into this awful mess with our finances .. Uk first into recession and last out of it? Isn’t it him and previous Tory governments who had de-regulated the banks, in the interests of free trade, market forces and all that bunkum?
If it wasn’t for Cleggs silly policies on the Euro and I’d vote Liberal.
Truth is I don’t want anyone to win, cos they’re all gangstas and crooks.
May 5, 2010 at 21:51 #294297This poll has actually made me decide to vote Labour again instead of Liberal. Seeing how close the voting was I’ve decided that my protest vote would only help ‘Dave, I’m just an ordinary guy’ get in. As most of my family work in education, the railways and the health service I realised I was shooting myself in the foot.
May 6, 2010 at 13:47 #294409Pompete – I find that link disconcerting to say the least.

I voted Conservative at 7.30am this morning. Am taking the rest of the afternoon off work to get out the vote in Ealing Central & Acton constituency – good times!
May 6, 2010 at 16:01 #294422I find that link disconcerting to say the least.

Sorry Mes, I’ve removed it. It was a bit much

Well the big question is, will the nation follow the TRF mood for a Labour/Lib Dibs coalition?
If so, who’d have thought John Major may be the last ever Tory PM if we get PR
May 6, 2010 at 17:25 #294432Yep, PR Pompete
Rhinos, Winos and Lunatics allowed a voice in the ‘mother of all parliaments’ – bring it on…and remember, today and tonight wasn’t what ‘they’ wanted, it was what ‘we’ insisted upon: keep ’em in or kick ’em out – democracy
Envious eyes elsewhere
Enjoy the night all
