Is there a way to find out how many horses a particular trainer has in training? Other than getting a copy of ‘Horses in Training’ book?

Just a few. Couldn’t find a website for either that I wanted to look up unfortunately – A McCabe (Retford) and O Brennan?

McCabe 42 and Brennan 12 in HIT 2008.
A good way to check this at this stage of the season would be to put the trainers into the search box on Racing Post and then click on statistics by horse. At least it will show you how many horses they have run – although Alan may have some 2yos yet to make their debuts.

Dunno, but no doubt increasing as he seems to be investing in quite a few of Schlenderhans horses in Germany! Allanit and Agapanthus are recent additions (he got Miramare some time before), and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some further additions to the list in due course.
