Well spotted Big G. I think (hope) it’s one of very few entries where I don’t have PP…. I put him into most of the others …. there’s only 10 slots per entry unfortunately ! 😂
January 2, 2020 at 00:44 #1478746What a strange Xmas period with none of the big guns scoring – Paisley Park, CPS, Lostinatranslation, Champ, Klassical Dream, Fakir d’Oudrais etc etc ..,!! Still, it’s early days yet.
January 2, 2020 at 01:00 #1478747Most of those amongst my choices at least Battleoverdoyen is flying the flag for my stable.

But you can give them to the birds and bees.January 3, 2020 at 02:50 #1478810Apologies to all and many thanks Neil for updating the leaderboard. This Christmas/New Year
thing has thrown me out a bit, it won’t happen again.Inthestream has kept his place at the head of the bunch I see, but a couple of good 2nd
places in the Welsh National (Truckers Lodge) and Cyrname in the King George has Wakashandy
closing the gap.A big stride up the table by Geezer’s Number Two Yard with 3 decent wins with A Plus Tard,
Abacadabras and Al Boum Photo to push him up into 3rd place. That was the best week of anyone
in the league, very well done sirNice one Neil with Delta Work, he looks like one to get you plenty of points the way he dug in
at Leopardstown. A very nice 32.6 points to add to your tallyI see we have a new member, x-Factors in the league who joins us with with a decent 63.8 points
to lie mid league. Welcome to youI’ll keep my eye on the ball after this week, I don’t want to be standing in the dunces corner
too often for going AWOL. Good luck allJanuary 7, 2020 at 02:35 #1479142A relatively quiet week 5, but nonetheless a decent one for Wakashandy with a very impressive win
from Envoi Allen who is looking to be one of the stars of the competition. A very nice 28.1 points
helps Wakashandy cut into that lead held by Inthestream. The same horse was an equally shrewd choice
by Jumping Stars and gets him off the foot of the table and up to 7th place. Altior in the Silviniaco
Conti Chase at Kempton on Saturday is a fairly popular choice with 5 stables hoping he can go one better
than his runners up place behind Cyrname last time out at Ascot. It seems that Frodon won’t be going
to Kempton so surely this is no more than a penalty kick for Altior. This is the state of play after week 5

29.5January 17, 2020 at 00:33 #1479971It won’t take me long to sum up week 6, we’re all at a standstill
This weekend coming should resolve the log jam as there are a few
decent shouts for more points running. Defi Du Deuil is a fairly popular
choice in the league stables, Janika and Min (Sunday) are others.I’m starting to get a bad feeling about Altior. Most of us have him, and
I just wonder exactly how bad his problems are. Henderson wasn’t happy
about the way the BHA handled his will he won’t he participation in the
Silviniaco Conti Chase at kempton. Henderson said he thought the horse was
fit to run but under the circumstances he thought it better to pull him
out. The Clarence House was mentioned as possibly his next race, but that
hasn’t materialised either. Will we see him before Cheltenham ? or for that
matter will we see him at all his year. I hope my misgivings are wrong, it
would be such a shame for one of the most exciting horses for some time to
be missing from the scene.I won’t copy the league table as it is exactly the same as last week. Good
luck this weekendJanuary 21, 2020 at 02:00 #1480361Quite how I deserted Defi Du Seuil, not to mention Paisley Park, this year I can’t quite
get my head around. I was shouting DDS’s name from the rafters after I was there to watch
him win the Triump Hurdle in 2017. I stuck him up in Bobby’s Ten To Follow as my star horse,
back in October 2017, only for him 2 run twice that year, finishing 7/8 and 4/5. I left him
out the following year only for him to show what he could do and I’ve done the same this year
when he’s looked unbeatable ……why
Maybe I felt I’d bolted the barn door after he had bolted and missed my chance. In any case,
plenty in here weren’t so bloody stupid and a nice 28 points was notched up by Inthstream,
Wakashandy, Geezer’s Number Two yard, Neil’s stable and Show Me The Mane. He’s going to
run you up a stack of points guys, very well doneThere seemed to be a bit of a glitch last week as the results hadn’t changed from the previous
week when I checked them, but Barrow Raiders should have had the points for Andy Dufresne who
won his race at Punchestown on Sunday 12th. It is showing up now so his stable is 22.5 points
to the good and has jumped nicely up from 10th position to 7th, so belatedly well doneSo this is where we are after week 7……….

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 22, 2020 at 02:11 #1480476Yes Jack, it had started off in the Horseracing Forum when Steeplechasing opened the thread to
inform us about the competition. I started a TRF league on the TTTF site and was updating it there
but it was moved to the Competitions Forum by one of the mods, which made sense. I know you were
having some problems with the TTTF site, it certainly wasn’t the easiest to navigate round. Did you
manage to get a Stable entered?. If you did I’d have no problems at all if you wanted to join the
league at this stage, I know it was your intention from the beginning. There are only a couple of
Stables in our league that I’m not sure who they are from, I’m assuming neither is yourself.January 23, 2020 at 10:01 #1480578Thanks- i did just join it the other day. Did a Jack H Stable0 join?

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 24, 2020 at 21:03 #1480727Sorry I didn’t notice your post from yesterday earlier jack. Yes your stable is in the
league now in 2nd position on 189.9. Best of luck mateJanuary 30, 2020 at 01:52 #1481260Sorry bit late as we will soon be heading into week 9, but here’s the lowdown from week 8.
Our late arrival to the league, Jackh, plays a stunner with a nice win by Carefully Selected
at Naas on Sunday who was having a good duel with Spyglass Hill until that one departed late
on. I think CS would have prevailed in any case. A few mone points for Jack after a bloodless
win by Allaho who looks quite smart. I reckon he’s Cheltenham bound now Jack and the Ballymore
Novices’ Hurdle or the Albert Bartlett seem the likely route. Great week sirInthestream may have lost the top spot, but he’s not far behind and with the ultra impressive
Benie des Dieux leaving a class field in his wake at Gowran Park last Thursday. She looks as
close to a sure fired Cheltenham winner as you’ll probably get. I’m more than happy I’ve got her
in my stable and I’m sure that Geezer’s Number Two yard is too.Paisley Park just looks the finished article winning the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday,
and didn’t do the chances of Wakashandy, Geezer’s Number two yard, Neil, Nathan (Show Me The Mane),
X-Factors, Barrow Raiders, Jumping Stars, Jac’s Flyers and Bourne Losers any harm. I’d have been
quicker saying everyone bar me and Inthestream Very well done to all there, and a nice
double for Jac with Santini, even if it probably broke her heart watching him get the better of
her darling Bristol De Mai at the finish. Don’t worry Jac, he’ll be back, I reckon that 3rd last
fence cost him dearly here. Some big races coming up this weekend at Leopardstown and Sandown, that might just shake the league
up a bit. Here is how we stand after week 8 …………..

66.9February 4, 2020 at 16:56 #1481966Nine weeks gone already, and a new leader in the league. Wakashandy shoots to the top courtesy
of two of the stars of the season at Leopardstown. Honeysuckle has already shown how good she
was, running away from the competition, but this time she had to tough it out and she showed
she has resolve in spades. She will rack up many more points this season. The other big scorer
was the equally impressive Chacun Pour Soi who ran out a good winner against a very good horse
in Min. With the added points of the bonus race, the Irish Champion Hurdle, for Honeysuckle,
Waka scored a pretty massive 80.8 points. Excellent stuffJack was dropped to 2nd, but still had a good scorer in the shape of Chacun Poir Soi, as did
Geezer, Neil, Nathan (Show Me The Mane), Barrow Raiders, Jac and Bourne LosersNeil also has a good one in his stable with Delta Work, who looked tough as nails holding off
the challenge of Kemboy in the Irish Gold Cup. Terrific selection Neil, looks certain to do
well and could be a Gold Cup horse. 57.8 points was 2nd best result this week. Nice one neilLooking forward to altior appearing at the weekend, If henderson is to be believed there’s
not another horse in training that would be able to stay with him the way he’s been this week,
I’ve nevr backed an odds on favourite ever, but I had a very good weekend with the golf and
then stayed up for the Superbowl after it. I piled into Kansas City Chiefs before the game,
as I mentioned before the game in Darren’s Sports Bets, and had a bit on them when they went
a bit behind. I had to sweat it out when they went further behind, they were 10 points down
with 6 minutes to go but came through with 2 late touchdowns. I got a boost from Paddy Power
and had a bit at 4/7 on Altior, but they only allowed £50, and the rest at 8/15. He’s best
priced 1/2 now and 4/9 and 2/5 is starting to appear. It wouldn’t surprise me if he went off
1/3. There’s no such thing as a cert, but he’s probably as near to that as you’ll get I think.Enough about me, here’s the state of play in the league ……………

79.4February 12, 2020 at 22:10 #1482775Update Week 10
It’s a simple update, It’s all down to Altior who got back onto winning ways
at Newbury. Opinion is a bit divided as to how good, or otherwise, his run was.
He did take a bit of “stoking up” but when the penny dropped after the last he
left them for dead. I was more than happy with his run, not least because, as I
mentioned last week I had a decent bet on him, and my prediction of the 1/3 odds
was spot on. I had him in my stable here, along with Geezer, Show Me The mane,
Jac’s Flyers, and Bourne Losers. That was a welcome 22.4 points for all of us.Some decent points up for grabs at the weekend, in particular with some nice
sorts running in the Betfair Ascot chase. Cyrname is going to be a popular
choice in the competition, but I don’t know if I’d be taking the 1/2 that’s
on offer after he looked a bit jaded in the King George. If he’s back to
full health he is a worthy favourite, but if not then he’s got the up and
coming Riders On The Storm who ran away from a decent field over C/D in
December. Personally I think the 7/2 is a bit tempting, I can see him being
no better that 2/1 on the day. Frodon is a decent type too, but he won’t run
if Cyrname does. Janika, Top Notch, The World’s End and L’Ami Serge are others
who could show themselves on saturday and will no doubt be in many stables.Good luck all, here’s the League as it stands after week 10.

79.4February 13, 2020 at 14:06 #1482817Thanks for all your updates Graham really appreciated.. I’m really happy with my stable and 7th position is better than I thought. Of course my Free Stable is doing better than my League one currently on 210 points but things can soon change..best of luck..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 13, 2020 at 15:58 #1482825Thanks for that Jac. I’ve got a bit of catching up to do and as luck would have it
my number 2 stable is on 192 points. Pity they only allow one stable in a league, that’s
a bit of a strange rule. I think Cheltenham is going to make all the difference with
several Grade 1 races and the bonus points for 7 top races. I’ve got 5 horses yet to
score a point, hopefully they should at least turn up at the festival. It was good to
see you getting away from the foot of the table, keep up the good work -
