Week 12 Update
In the main there’s not much movement in the league with the exception
of a rip roaring week for Forestrangers who will need to send a valentine’s
card to Adayar, magnificant winner of the King George VI & QUeen Eliz Stakes.
He’s the 2nd highest scoring horse in the competition and you’re the only
one in the league to have him, although after Goodwood I expect that a few
more might dive in and add him to their stable. You’ve moved in nicely behind
Plum Draw who had a blank week. 55.25 Points, top scorer and into 2nd place.
Very well done
There was no doubting who was flavour of the month this week in the league.
Mishriff did nothing wrong when only finding Adayar too good. No less than
8 of you Green’s Freebies, Man Superstars, Threenaps, White Custard, Mark’s
Superstars, Numpty On The Flat, Dreaming Of a Triple Crown and Bourne Flat
all had him and 14.50 Points was your just reward
A Point, or just over (1.10) were the only other Point scorers for FF91 and
Dreaming O.A.T.C with Jessica Harrington’s Alpine Star at York on Friday who
was unlucky to go down by a shd to Aristia. Close but no cigar guys, well maybe
a cheroot
A big week coming up at Goodwood with plenty of stable interest. Those declared for
Tuesday include Space Blues and Safe Voyage in the Lennox Stakes. Stradivarius and
Truesham in the Goodwood Cup looks a head to head but Mark Johnson might have other
ideas with Sir Ron Priestly as no doubt Aiden O’Brien will have with Santiago. On Wednesday The race of the day is the Sussex Stakes with Poetic Flare looking
to continue his brilliant year but will find stiff opposition if Snow Lantern puts
her best leg forward (also down for Nassau Stakes on Thursday) and Alcohol Free
and Lope Y Fennandez could have a squeak.Battash and Glass Slippers are League fancies who could battle it out in the King George
Stakes on Friday.Great week of racing . Best of luck to all

Don’t forget that Transfer Week is open directly after Goodwood

I just hit a glitch on my computer right after doing my Monday Update. It was obviously
my laptop as the Modem was still okay. The only thing I could do was copy and paste
the lot and hope it pasted out once I restarted. Connection fine once restarted, but
no paste was there so it’s all bloody gone
This is a shortened version. Bloody technology

After taking a breather last week, Plumb Draw Racing has pushed on again and has created a
bit of a gap at the top courtesy of one of the finds of the competition. Alcohol Free
was a decisive winner of the Sussex Stakes and as I said before to PDR, it’s the ace in the
hole that can seperate winners and losers, and AF is definately an ace find. Great stuff
PDR, a very healthy 56.50 Points for her and you had a reserve in the in the shape of Snow Lantern who managed a further 1.55 Points in 3rd. Top scorer in the league by a county mile and
still top of the league. Great week for you and what a brilliant find
The only movers in the league this week (PDR can’t go any higher) were LongersPlummers Racing
who took a step up from 8th to 7th with Sir Ron Priestly, 3rd in the Goodwood cup and
Glass Slippers who filled the same spot in the King George Qatar Stakes, and Neil’s Horses
who moved from 13th to 12th with the same 2 horses. A further 4.65 Points go to both
of you. Very well done
I won’t go through all those who got relatively small points, but Snow Lantern was
by far the most popular choice with 5 stables on her. Others who added a few points were Sir Ron Priestly, Euchan Glen, Raabinah, Zeyaadah and Dakota Gold who were all placed. Not a lot doing this week with the big York meeting coming up in the following week but I
clocked that Mother Earth is down to run at Deauville tomorrow and Euchan Glen
has an entry in the Rose Of Lancaster Stakes at Haydock on Saturday. Thunder Moon and
Summerghand are at this time declared to run at the Curragh on Sunday. For those of you that like the camaraderie of the Shergar Cup, you can feast yourselves
at Ascot on Saturday. Personally I’d rather listen to Donald Trump detailing his plans for his
World Domination Programme or even our very own Tank expounding the virtues of the Anti Vaxxers,
but don’t let me put you off
Well that’s it (2nd time around) good luck this week and here are the scores as per the TTTF

127.10August 5, 2021 at 16:14 #1553461Hello to everyone
I am sure that all of you are aware that the Transfer Window opens on Monday
August 9th 2021 for the Ten To Follow competition. The Tote are working on an update to the List of Horses to chose from and anyone
can request an addition by asking on the website chat line. Some of us are in real need of a boost to our entries including myself.
Many Thanks
August 5, 2021 at 18:07 #1553480In dire need of fresh horses. Hopefully glass slippers can rocket me up the leaderboard. Clinging to the hope I’ve got a few autumn targets for my ten.🤞
August 5, 2021 at 22:39 #1553519Thanks for the update on the transfer window John, I think I’d
need to find 2 Shergars
Good luck Mickey, I’ve also got a couple that have obviously got
August targets, or at least I hope they have. Cheers
August 7, 2021 at 22:07 #1553844Half my Stable need transferring out, one or two haven’t even run and some have run badly.
I think Indigo Girl has to go she’s not the same horse as last year and One Ruler never fulfilled the promise he showed either.
Better luck for 2nd half of comp.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 8, 2021 at 13:42 #1553917Great news about the transfer window. Thanks John, I hadn’t spotted it. I could do with getting rid of almost all of mine. No idea what happened to some of them but they certainly haven’t been near a UK racecourse. I can’t understand how I’m not last!
August 8, 2021 at 14:40 #1553926I’ve got your back there Tonge, your safe enough I’ve got a stable of
Shetland ponies
August 10, 2021 at 03:31 #1554179Week 14 Update
Another quiet week with only 4 stables managing any points and the French racing
coming to the rescue for a couple of stables, namely Green’s Freebies and Listens
Battalions. Both had the ever consistent Mother Earth who battled on well to
hold off Sagamiyra in the Group 1 Prix Rothschild. Both then top scorers this week
with 29.50 Points and both with a jump 1 place up the leaderboard, Green’s Freebies
now moving into the box seat just behind the leader and Listens Battalions up to
9th spot. Well done both of you for finding a Group 1 winner on a quiet week
It must have been frustrating for Michael Walsh waiting for Tarnawa to finally
grace a racecourse, but it was well worth the wait when he absolutely sluiced up at
Leopardstown last week. That looks a terrific find Michael, if he’s now over his earlier
problems he could run you up a tidy number of Points I reckon, he looks class the way
he cruised through the race and when the button was pressed won going away. Nice one
Final points scored by Marks Stable Stars with the very decent Starman scoring 1.50
Points taking 3rd place in the Group 1 Maurice de Gheest at Deauville on Sunday. He did
nothing wrong Mark, it was that extra 1/2f on soft ground that caught him out in the last
100 yards. He’ll no doubt be getting his head in front again back over his trip
Another quiet week in the offing, although a few stables have a couple to shout on. Dark
Angels and Bourne Flat have Mutasaabeq and Neil has Space Blues, both well
fancied to do well in the Hungerford Stakes on Saturday. White Custard and Numpty On The Flat
are hoping that Wordsworth can start to life up to his early lofty reputation
in the Irish St Leger Trial Stakes at the Curragh. That’s the lot for this week, can I remind you all that the transfer Window Is Now Open.

127.10August 11, 2021 at 18:07 #1554400Hi Graham
I know the transfer window is open but when does it close? Is it before the Juddmonte or after? I can’t seem to find any information the site is almost impossible to navigate.
Many thanks for any help here ..Jac

August 16, 2021 at 21:27 #1557019Week 15 Update
***FINAL DAY FOR TRANSFERS***
It was all about 1 horse this week and no fewer than 15 of the 18 stables
had the flag flying for Palace Pier at Deauville on Sunday. He didn’t
disappoint and it was an epic finish with 2 great horses and PP just getting
the better of Poetic Flare. The 27.80 Points for that was enough to keep Plum
Draw Racing at the top of the leage. Well done PDR for keeping your head in
front, but you’ll need to keep an eye on Forestrangers who moved into 2nd place,
again with Palace Pier but also adding a further 28.10 Points with Santa Barbara
who showed no signs of jetlag when winning at Arlington Park. You’ve closed the
margin to a mere 50 Points. Great stuff Forest
It’s tight at the top as although Green’s Freebies dropped from 2nd to 3rd, the ever
reliable Palace Pier has you only 23 points behind Forestrangers. Still nicely placed
Green
It would be easier to name those who didn’t have Palace Pier than those that did, but
I’ll spare their blushes for not picking him up in the transfer window
Of the movers in the league, Nathan’s White Custard stable had a great combination
with Palace Pier and also the very impressive winner of the Hungerford Stakes at
Newbury on Saturday with Sacred. A nice move from 6th to 5th Nathan with
a couple that are bound to add to your tally, Nicely done
Mark’s Stable Stars moves up 1 to 6th with Palace Pier and Santa Barbara, Neil’s Horses
moves up from 12th to 11th with the same duo as does Dreaming Of a Triple Crown who moves up
from 15th to 14th. All 3, along with Man Superstars are top scorers this week with 55.90
Points. Very well done to all 4 of you
As I said, plenty others with Palace Pier and everyone managed to score this week, me included

It’s a big week coming up with the York meeting. The O’Brien pair Sir Lucan and High
Definition in the Great Voltigeur are of interest to some stables on the 1st day.
The Juddmonte has a good handful from the stables with Mishriff, Love, Alcohol Free and MacSwiney all top horses with every chance of adding to some Stables in here.On Thursday Snowfall surely takes the Yorkshire Oaks. On Friday Stradivarius and Truesham are a mouth watering rematch in the Lonsdale Cup, I honestly don’t know what way that one will go but it could be epic.
It’s guessing a bit as to who turns up Saturday, but the City of York Stakes coul have Space
Blues, Mutasaabeq and Sir Busker, all of interest to the league.Best of luck if you have one or two in your stable running at York this week good luck with
your punting anyway

156.70August 18, 2021 at 09:41 #1557194Anyone actually managed to make a transfer? I can’t see any way of doing it on that useless website.
update – managed to do it (for what it’s worth) Think it was another case of the website not functioning because of increased traffic. That’s what I get for leaving it to the last minute!
August 18, 2021 at 10:34 #1557206@Tonge
I did my transfers on Sunday and put in St.Mark’s Basilica the next day he was out of the Juddmonte with a setback.
You’re right it is a totally useless site. Why for the Transfer window can’t they allow changes they are encouraging a late Surge on the site which always goes down on the day..glad you finally cracked the code Tonge.
Jac
Hopefully SMB will be back in action soon.
