Thanks for that Jac, some tremendous racing over in France at the weekend.
It looks like the going may well be soft on Arc day which wont suit Adayar
but it will suit Mojo Star who I think is very much the forgotten horse in
the race. He was the only one that put it up to Adayar in the Derby, with
Hurricane Lane over 3L behind, and if Kirby hadn’t found that gap up the rail
he would have won. I don’t think he did at all badly in the St Leger either
behind Hurricane Lane. Those races were no fluke and those 2 are generally 5/2
and 5/1 in the betting so how Mojo Star can be 66/1 defeats me. I’ve filled
my boots and think he will have every chance of at least a place on Sunday.

    Bonne chance :good:

Hope you’ll excuse me but I’ll update the scores etc later on Tuesday. My
son and his partner from London arrived on Monday, I haven’t seen him for
2 years with Covid and I’d never met his partner so it’s been a busy day.
At a glance there’s very little movement but I’ll update tomorrow :good:

Enjoy your time with your son Graham. We all need that precious time with our families now, so much catching up to do.

Th horses can wait and I’m sure nobody would mind if you left the update to next Monday/Tuesday, Future Champions weekend could see one or two more changes in the Leaderboard…Jac :rose:

You can leave it as long as you like as far as I’m concerned Graham. There’s unlikely to be any good news there for me! Seriously, have a great time with your family. Catherine

Thanks for that Jac and Catherine, I’ve so much catching up to do :good:

I’ll simply say that FF91 and Michael Welsh were the only
stables to get into double figures courtesy of Tarnawa (13.80 Points)
and Stradivarius (1.60 Points). No change with the
    leaders.

Good luck this week all :good:

My Son headed back down south today so I’ll catch up with my week 23 report.

A particularly quiet week with only 1 horse, Chindit, who had the unenviable task
of taking on the brilliant Al Suhail at Newmarket on Friday, adding any points. He
had to settle for 3rd place which added 1.50 Points to both Forestrangers and Mike
Walsh. Well done guys, they all count :good:

It’s going to be a lot different this week with Champions Day in the offing. A host of
stable entries will be heading to Ascot and there could be major shifts in the league.
Stradivarius and Truesham are down at the moment to go head to head again. I’m not
sure that both or either will take their place, it’s asking a lot after 2m 4f in a
swamp at Longchamp 2 weeks ago.

The Champions Sprint stakes sees Art Power, Creative Force, Dragon Symbol and Thunder Moon
take each other on. Thunder Moon has been a disappointment having had great expectations
at the start of the season, but the other 3 all have huge shouts.

The British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes has a quartet of interest with Albaflora, Love,
    Search For A song
and Snowfall all entered at this stage (Snowfall and Love also have entries in
the Champion Staakes). It’s only 13 days since Snowfall ran in the Arc, I’d be surprised to see
her turn up after such a hard race. They are all going to have to work extra hard if they are
going to take Free Wind on, she looked a bit of a monster last time out at Doncaster. There was
barely a fag paper between La Petite Coco and Love last time out at the Curragh Stakes, it’s a bit
    off a toss up again.

The QEII Stakes is another head scratcher with Palace Pier and Baaeed at the head of the market.
Plenty of others from our stables will be trying to upset the apple cart, namely Lord Glitters,
Master Of The Seas, Alcohol Free
and Mother earth. So far nothing has got past Baaeed who looked
impressive at Lonchamp. Having said that Palace Pier is as tough as teak and dug deep to beat
the equally tough Poetic Flare at Deauville. I think this is the race of the day.

The Qipco champion Stakes is the last Group 1 of the day, and I think there could be a couple
at least who don’t show up here after recent tough races. Stable wise we have Abbeybb, Al Aasy,
    Mishriff, Love, Adayar, Bolshoi Ballet
and Snowfall. I’d be surprised to see either or both
Adayar and Snowfall after the Arc. They would need to be bouncing at home to get chanced here
and at the end of a season I’m not so sure they want this. I think Love will go for the
Champions Fillies and Mares and is it possible for Adayar to be at his best? I’d be taking
him on and Mishriff looked back to his best last time out at York but is short enough. I
couldn’t have been more impressed with a horse than I was with Al Aasy earlier on in the season.
The weels have come off a bit since then but if he, like Mishriff did, finds his earlier
    form I think he’s a decent shout at 20/1.

Still 71 entered for the Balmoral and it’s far to hard to work out from here so I’ll
    leave that one alone.

Best of luck on Saturday everyone, it’s sure to rumble the league up a bit :good:

    Final Week

And the winner is …………Man Superstars :yahoo:

Very well done Mike, you were just edged out of it on the last day of the
flat TTTF competition last year, so this must be a sweet win for you
Very well done with a terrific score of 606.06 mate :good: If you can
pm me with your bank account number and sorting code I’ll get your £50
    to you :good:

Threenaps and Plum Draw Racing, you both gave it a good shot but there
was just too much of a gap to haul MS in. Very well done finishing on the
    podium 2nd and 3rd :good:

I’ll be honest, it kind of caught me out it being the last week, apologies
for not highlighting that last week. Many thanks to all who contributed, the
table changed at the top many times.

I thoroughly enjoyed keeping tabs on the league. I hope you all enjoyed it
    All the best, Graham :good:

Super picks Mike, you won snugly in the end. Thanks for the updates bigG, sorry I missed the transfers, things got a bit busy at home over the summer and I half forgot about the forum comps for a while but this thread provides extra interest for us non Flatties and got me looking out for horses through the season that I would never have bothered about if I hadn’t had to pick ten and the more you watch the more interesting it gets it seems.

Right I’m off to pore over Bobby’s comp…my problem with that is the opposite to the flat comp..I struggle to find horses to leave out not ones to put in :good:

Very well done Mike :yahoo: That was some team you got together there and what a great score you must be very pleased. Will certainly have to try harder next year to catch you.
Perhaps I’ll put in a crack team of Godolphin horses next year as a certain Poster on the 2000 Guineas Thread seems to think I am a covert Agent for Sheikh Mo ..lol ;-)
Seriously though that was some great tipping and well done also to Threenaps who has won the Scudamore book Three Of A Kind or if NH racing is not your thing Three Naps I’ll send you a Tenner so you can buy a book of your choice..just PM me on TRF messaging.
Well done also to Plum Draw Racing in 3rd position :good:

Finally a huge thank you to Graham for all his lengthy and informative updates every week and for putting up a generous 1st Prize 🏆.
I always lived in hope that my Dark Angels would fly Graham but this year they decided to rest their wings and most of my choices petered out one by one but really enjoyed taking part in the competition..big thank you. Jac

Thanks guys and thanks Jac for putting up the Scudamore book Three Of A Kind for the runner-up,
I think it would make a great read and a terrific prize :good:

Mike, I got your PM but it also says “You do not have permission to send reply to this message!”
Just to let you know that the money should be in your account now :good:

PS I’ve deleted your PM as requested :good:

Thanks Bobby, I realised I hadn’t printed the whole league table out,
went back in to copy it a bit later and they had taken it down

Even though everyone had no doubt already clocked it, I wished the Tote’s
site had been just as sharp during the competition

Thanks to a PM from SamD, I’ve learned that the League is actually still up.
I don’t know what happened when I checked, as I said to Sam either there
was a glitch or I messed up, which is more likely

I’ll print it out now so everyone can see where they finished, although
    everyone probably knows already.

The new TTTF Jumps competition starts on 13 November, I’ll have a new league
sorted by the weekend, when I’ll also have Bobby’s TTF picked. It’s hard
getting that one down to 10, I’m still juggling about 20 horses and changing
    my mind daily

Here’s the final league positions on the TTTF flat.
    Cheers, Graham

@ BigG: think TTF Flat leagues were inaccessible for a while last week while Tote site was being prepared for upcoming Jumps game.

Was similarly flummoxed by this issue in previous changeover, ie between end/beginning of Flat/Jumps contests.

Thanks for invitation to Jumps mini-league.
