The competition for the Jumps version finishes today, and the flat competition will be
off and running in a week’s time on 2000 Guineas day, with the tapes going up at 11am on
Saturday 1st May. The competition concludes on Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday 16th
October.I’ve started a league and I’m happy enough to run an update on how we are doing in the
same manner as I have in the jumps version. Hopefully we can get a good turnout, and if
as long as we do I’m happy to stick up £50 for the stable that tops the league.
Depending on the number of stables entered, 20 or over, I’ll stick up a £25 prize
for the runner up. The league is under the name Theracingforum and the pin number
for entry is 000225. You can enter at https://tote.co.uk/ten-to-follow/playStables cost £5 each, but you also have the option to submit a free stable, whether you buy any
stables or not. Just a word of warning, you are only allowed 1 entry into any league, so if you,
like me, are having a couple of paid entries, make sure you put your strongest one into the league.
The prizes depend on how much is paid into the pot, but you can be assured that the winner of the
Competition will receive in excess of £100,000.One stipulation that I want to make clear, is that any person who wants to be eligible for any
of the prizes must be registered with theracingforum and have their stable entered into the league
prior to the tapes going up at 11am on Saturday 1st MAY. No exceptions.Bonus races and Scoring
Regular Points: Group 1 win – 25 points, Group 2 – 20 points, Group 3 – 15 points, Listed – 12 points, Any other race – 10 points.
Points will also be awarded from returns of a £1 each-way bet on the Tote in each race a horse runs in. Example: £1 win at 5.50 + £1 place at 1.20 = 6.70 points awarded. For races run in the UK and Ireland the returns will be based on the standard Tote dividend. For races run overseas, the local tote return will be used (as published in the Racing Post).
Bonus races: 2000 Guineas, 1000 Guineas, Irish 2000 Guineas, Irish 1000 Guineas, Oaks, Derby, Queen Anne Stakes, Kings Stand Stakes, Prince of Wales Stakes, Ascot Gold Cup, Commonwealth Cup, Diamond Jubilee Stakes, Irish Derby, Coral-Eclipse, July Cup, Irish Oaks, King George VI & QE Diamond Stakes, Sussex Stakes, Juddmonte International, Nunthorpe, Irish Champion Stakes, St Leger, Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Queen Elizabeth II stakes, Champion Stakes.
Bonus Race Points: Additional 25 points for a win, 12 points for finishing 2ndI think that’s enough to be getting on with. Best of luck trawling through the huge list
of horses on offer

Best of luck to all and thanks for doing this again Graham and putting up such a generous 1st and 2nd prize.

April 24, 2021 at 19:17 #1537864Hello to everyone
I can only agree with what other people have said about the chance to compete for
the prizes put up by BigG in the RacingForumLeague.I would be really pleased to have a chance of winning and will be doing my best to
put together a good entry, but the opposition will be difficult to overcome.Anyway all the best to all who enter

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 25, 2021 at 04:10 #1537879Yep, we could do without them Jac
April 25, 2021 at 08:19 #1537884Do you remember on TRF Awards years ago when you didn’t need to be a member to vote and Middleham Park sent a link to all the members and they ended up with about 600 votes in the owner of the year category..
Could take you a bit of time on your write ups BigG if ATR do the same…
