Just a few tomorrow, the plumpton card is competitive, especially the 1.10
Plumpton 1.10
1 point e/w glenloe @8/1
1 point slate house @6/1Not a fan of horses coming from france like the fav and being installed such a short price, by far the quickest ground he will have raced on also should the rain stay away, same could be said for glenloe but hes coming back in trip, getting some weight, he was an interesting hurdler, same idea for slate house, always thought a fence would improve him, think ill be a tad disappointed if one of them doesnt shake up the very, very week loling JLT market
Cracking race in ireland tomorrow in the grade 1, ill most definitely be taking on the front 2, im very skeptical of battleoverdoyen getting the trip in a grade 1 so soon and i was underwhelmed by tornado flyer FTO, 9runners, Come to me is who interests me e/w, what makes him 9/1 and BOD 7/4 he was arguably more impressive, and hes over 3 times the price, commander of fleet another who shouldnt be forgotton about, i couldnt back him but although he was 4th LTO in the strongest novice race ran this season in ireland so far, only beaten just over a length by aramon who bolted up in a grade 1 NTO, hes getting a little weight here also, he would be my 2nd choice, might save if he drifts!
1 point e/w come to me @9/1
January 6, 2019 at 01:36 #1391561Love these G1’s in Ireland, but they don’t always go by the script. I’m seriously considering Sams Profile as a small ew around 25’s.
January 6, 2019 at 11:01 #1391571A little peeved Commander of Fleet doesn’t run today, had 10s on him and i think he was underestimated given one bad run with excuses.
Will root for yours Ham, i loved his bumper win and subsequently backed him for the bumper at Cheltenham for him to pick up an injury!
Going to take a flyer on one in the 2.50. Mystique Heights, Backed him LTO, when 5th but well beaten by 30Ls, the reasoning behind it was his much improved flat form in 2018- finishing close to Brazos and Mr Everest. I was going to leave him today but i can’t resist a small bit on him, it was a decent rate last time + today he faces horses like British Art who whilst having shown improved hurdles form, is very closely matched on flat ratings and has nowhere near the form he has. Granted comparing flat form to hurdles form is probably a road to the poor house, Mystique Heights is 25s vs British Art’s 8/1.Twitter: Jackh1092
Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 6, 2019 at 15:23 #1391590From what looked a top grade 1 it ends up looking a bit sketchy, like you said vtc they dont always go to plan!
Master dink won nicely
And very well done jack with mystique heights!! Had a few quid on just to watch the race for you so no complaints about missing out lol! Top stuff!
January 6, 2019 at 17:14 #1391593Nice win Jack
Yeah Ham, always worth taking a chance on these races, especially as so many of them are hype merchants. Got the 28’s ew on Sams Profile, and delighted with him, and even happier that it wasn’t a massive R4.
Cats out the bag a wee bit with him, but I do like him for the spring, but I’ll ptobably not play Antepost.
January 6, 2019 at 17:42 #1391603Aye well done on the 2nd vtc! He made an error which would have probably seen him a little closer than he finished!
January 6, 2019 at 17:45 #1391605Cheers lads- went well!
Sam’s Profile was very eye-catching indeed and looks a horse with a v good future.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 8, 2019 at 00:03 #1391761Leamington novice (warwick)
Going to play two early here, theres a chance ill get a better price on the day, but it may cut up a fair bit looking at whos entered so ill take the chance
0.5 points e/w moonlighter @16/1
2 points tidal flow @7/2January 10, 2019 at 09:46 #1391993Anything catch your eye at Clonmel Ham?
I have taken a chance e/w on Claregate Street, rank big price, but was every bit as good as Joeys on the flat, and his is best price 6/1. Clearly doesn’t translate exactly, but minus the reserve (now gets in) French Made i think they are a limited bunch of horses, and Elliot’s probably needs soft ground.
Took 50s last night e/w and there’s 66s about now haha shrewd.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 10, 2019 at 12:29 #1392009Nothing id be to confident on anyway jack, ill be betting very small to watch accidental again lol would top off a funny story if he manages to win eh? Cant go wrong at 50/1
Was a big drift there on french made eh and still won well ? Had a glance tbis morning and she was 4/5?
January 10, 2019 at 12:37 #1392013Haha yep it would indeed- not surprised Elliot’s on the drift in that- has rank form! Mullins in that is meant to be decent, but short enough!
Claregate St ran a nice there finished 5th- clearly has some sort of ability. I had a bit of 33/1 7places with 365 too, so didn’t end too badly.
Yeah French Made won nicely enough, but had to with all the allowances!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 10, 2019 at 14:18 #1392021SHort enough indeed, ran a shocker, only watching on my phone so may just be the horse who finished 2nd being small, but the winner looked huge, tanked through that, won nicely
Accidental hopefully will one day pick up a race, no use today!
January 11, 2019 at 18:38 #1392148Moonlighter a nonnrunner but tidal flow showing and i expect him to go off fav, 5/4 shortest price, still 2/1 about though atm, these jp-hendo animals i have a theory that i eont back them until they win again, so many of them get beaten 2nd time after winning well FTO
January 11, 2019 at 19:06 #1392150Commander of fleet out of the moscow flyer on sunday which was to be expected with the ground and trip, thought ruby would have been on buildmeupbuttercup but has opted for harrie, very, very sketchy race on the face of it and i likely wont bet but would like to see felix desjy run well as a boost to the salsaretta formline!

2 points tidal flow @7/2And cut up it has, birchdale now a nonnrunner and tidal flow is around evs-11/10 in most placaee, hopeful of a good run, getting weight from rockpoint and has the better of him on ratings as is. stoney mountain needs to find atleast 5 lbs assuming tidal flow runs his race and doesnt improve any, should prefer this ground though! for the sake of the thread ill leave it as is, but id be tempted to green out in this scenario, but ill leave it running

Few other fancies tomorrow
Kempton 12.20
Youv got to take this 4/6 fav on IMO, rprs (something i absolutely do not use) have him running 14lbs better than the 2nd fav! Theyll be hoping the wind op second time out improves him again but i Cant have it and ill be backing Tiffin top 2 points @5/2 Couldnbe capable of a decent mid 120s run if translating flat form, i think he will certainly improve for his first outing, if he settles better and a half furlong less in trip, ill be surprised if he doesnt win tbh!
Lanzarote:
Went to back canyon city yesterday and fell asleep! Luckily i did as hes got a fair bit bigger 0.5 points e/w @ 22/1 6 places with hills, should be capable of that id think on this ground! Trip might be slightly too far but cant argue with the price, if hills werent going 6 places id just bet him win only.
January 13, 2019 at 15:07 #1392390Delighted with felix desjy there different trip of course got him home, but a nice boost for salsaretta!
January 18, 2019 at 22:02 #13928642.05 haydock
Not quite sure why mister fisher is so short, hes a rotten old price on his win LTO, he won well but was getting weight all round, he beat a 142 horse getting 5lb, so a mis 130s at best id say, didnt look sure to have massive improvement in him, if he was 2/1 he would maybe come into my mind, but not at 5/6.
Was really keen on how bright forecast won last time, he stole lengths at the start, but sprinted clear at the end, thought it looked smart, 2nd has ran well since. Ill probably save on him
Esprit du large as impressive as he was im not quite sure the form stacks up, cant have him
Dont like the 2 outsiders
Leads me onto idee de garde, nice run behind a very smart looking type last time, looked a bit green in running, shpuld improve and the form looks pretty solid atm, looks way overpriced
2 points idee de garde @10/1
