Had to add General Principle here at 14’s. Could have been him or Monbeg, but if Monbeg wins, that would’ve good for my Gold Cup bet, so no point in betting him here.
If Invitation Only shortens much more, I’ll lay off for green book, but I’ll watch how it goes.
Can’t believe I’m not with Pairofbrowneyes here in any form, but have to draw the line somewhere.
January 23, 2019 at 18:36 #1393364Borice – first time tongue tie, back on Soft ground.
Small interest in a tricky handicap

I was dead against him, until i watched back Punchestown where Monalee caused him to unseat, he was still going very well + on that form he is nicely well in. Wouldn’t back him at the price as he can make an error himself.
I can see Pairofbrowneyes running a big one too.
Part of my problem with this race is i can see a few doing that lol.
POBE, IO and General Principle are the 3 i’d like to be with right now…..I had previously been interested in Mr Diablo, but that interest was more with another dry spell.
Will try + get bigger prices on the 3 on the exchanges.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 23, 2019 at 19:06 #1393367Yeah Jack, I’ve been wanting Invitation Only to run in this all season. One of my pet hates is horses being credited with an “Unseated Rider” when they were obviously “brought down”.
He would have went very close that day at Punchestown, in a hot race, but his run went unnoticed after “what happened next”.
General Principle is a long term fav of mine and had to add him, while I’m convinced Browneyes will land a big one this year.
January 23, 2019 at 20:47 #1393374No bet for me but I like Mr Diablo tackling 3 miles for only the 3rd time after his Troytown 2nd. Gets weight off everything bar the reserves.
January 23, 2019 at 21:03 #1393377VTC- i can’t read lol. I thought you said you were laying him.
14s lovely price.

That’s probably it right enough.
This looks a good race. Might have to sneak off for a tea break and watch it
…January 23, 2019 at 22:07 #1393384I’ve bet Dounikos at 14-1, and I think I’ll have a bit of the 6 Places as well.
January 24, 2019 at 00:39 #1393396lol Jack, I did the exact same same thing on the Pricewise thread last week, lost the ability to read completely.
January 24, 2019 at 10:46 #1393423Trying to figure out the plot jobs is a nightmare. Out Sam looks like a good each way play for me.
January 24, 2019 at 11:13 #1393425I’m absolutely staggered at the price of Monbeg Notorious for this with six places Skybet. How on earth can he be 9/1?
Frankly, I think that’s a wrong price. I’ve had a small bet on the favourite too who could just be abit too good for a handicap. But Monbeg Notorious is absolutely the one.
Monbeg Notorious e/w 9/1 (6 places)
Invitation Only e/w 9/2 (6 places)January 24, 2019 at 11:29 #1393428Another on General Principle and I’ve doubled with Cilaos Emery in the following race.
There’s your two to avoid today…good luck everyone
January 24, 2019 at 15:12 #1393452class prevailed. wd winners.
January 24, 2019 at 15:27 #1393453Bloody well done, Bobby.
And congratulations to everyone who backed him.
January 24, 2019 at 15:38 #1393458Miles ahead of the SP again Bobby, 14/1 is a cracking win for a horse you’d been waiting
to get entered in this for some time. Well done
January 24, 2019 at 15:52 #1393466I love it when a long term plan comes together Bob, well done mate
January 24, 2019 at 15:54 #1393467Great work, Bobby. You’re a demon with Irish Chase from. Well done, mate
