September 5, 2007 at 19:01 #113694Leslie Graham putting more that two pound on a horse.

She’s bumped up her stakes – I remember the days when it used to be "my 50 pee!

September 5, 2007 at 19:02 #113695The overflow car park full at Kempton Park (AW)
September 5, 2007 at 19:12 #113697Well, I was at an AW meeting at Kempton last month and there was a bumper attendance.
September 5, 2007 at 20:09 #113700in response to the question ‘what next for the horse’ a trainer replying :
"don’t bet on him for the next few races, he won’t be winning. we’ll run him a few times over unsuitable trips and ground and then look for a race once his handicap mark is a bit lower. i’ll have to make up some cock and bull story to the stewards about improved performance when we find a win but they’ve swallowed every one i’ve ever given. tough luck to anyone out there betting on it, they’re not paying the bills are they"
September 5, 2007 at 20:26 #113702Yep, I told him not to win, and what does the b*****d do, disobeys my instructions and wins!!!! He’s cost me and my pals a lot of money.
Nope, he’ll not ride for me again, nor any one else who’s got any sense. The lad’s too honest.
That’s it. I’m finished with him. The horse was laid out to win and it didn’t.
I think we’ve been stitched up.September 5, 2007 at 21:21 #113709Jim McGrath – "As I was saying to Reg in bed this morning, ……"

September 5, 2007 at 23:12 #113727You will never see an albino thoroughbred make a racehorse
You probably never come across the next seabiscuit in your lifetime
You will never see John McCririck without any side burns
You will never see Matt Chapman Cry
You will never hear any the commentators fart live on tv
[so immature tonight]September 5, 2007 at 23:17 #113728No albino throughbred has ever existed, never mind raced!
September 5, 2007 at 23:20 #113730Yes i saw an albino thoroughbred on morning line last year! There is also a coloured thoroughbred in the UK, he is the first coloured thoroughbred in history!
September 5, 2007 at 23:32 #113732No, what you probably saw was an extreme manifestation of the Sabino gene.
Albinism in horses is 100% lethal, the foal dies in utero.
September 6, 2007 at 08:36 #113740Following on from Drone’s post, I don’t think we’ll ever live to see the day Paul Morrison says "boo ya ka sha" on air. Ah well.

September 6, 2007 at 09:14 #113744Champion stallion Zabeel, a bay, has sired a pure-white thoroughbred filly out of the chestnut Carmina Burana.
The foal, sired for a stud fee of NZ$100,000, is a three-quarter sister to champion Might And Power, a Melbourne Cup, Cox Plate and Caulfield Cup winner who was twice named Australian Horse of the Year.

She looks albinoish with thse pink ears and nose

oh and to keep in line with the thread you won’t see her on a British racecourse either

September 6, 2007 at 11:47 #113750"Did you have any inkling your horse might win that race?"
