March 14, 2007 at 15:22 #44627And you lot said Sporazene couldn’t jump.
March 14, 2007 at 15:22 #44628Bad luck mate. Just plain unlucky that was, jumped the fence well enough.
The forgotten horse wins Voy Por Ustedes.
March 14, 2007 at 15:23 #44630The horse I backed flipping last march at 14/1 for this year. Just wish I had kept confidence in it cos i have more than halfed my profit on it. Suppose i should be happy but I aint.
ps Told you Dempsey would run well DJ lol
March 14, 2007 at 15:26 #44633Nice performance from the winner but really the the front ones looked to go out very quick

March 14, 2007 at 15:29 #44634Can’t help feeling the race would’ve been made for Well Chief if he hadn’t fallen.
Disappointment for me was Newmill.
March 14, 2007 at 15:34 #44635Much as i was pleased for VPU surely a anywhere near on form Well Chief would have accounted for Dempsey a lot easier than that?
Is he going to end up being the best horse never to win this race?
(i didnt have a bet…btw)
March 14, 2007 at 15:34 #44637But to be fair Danny you told me that Sporazene was a better jumper than Dempsey. So Sporazene would of won would it? I don’t think so LOL. Dempsey is a lovely jumper :)
Just looking at the fall again it didn’t seem to jump it badly, it just landed a little funny. Would of liked to see Well Chief finish, convinced it would of won.
March 14, 2007 at 15:38 #44638All credit to VPU but, as was the case when Moscow Flyer unseated in this three years ago, the race lost a lot of its lustre and worth with Well Chief’s early exit.
6.3M traded on Betfair of which 4.1M was on Well Chief.

I don’t ever want to hear a bookie moan again after the first two days of this festival that includes Barry Dennis.
March 14, 2007 at 15:42 #44640Moscow Flyer would have beat that lot even at the age he’s at now how good did he look in the parade.
March 14, 2007 at 15:43 #44641thought ashley brook ran a cracker and seemed to be closing again before falling at the last. An unfortunate Well chief, but jumping is the name of the game. <br>i’m sure we’ll see at aintree or sandown how much ability he retains.
March 14, 2007 at 15:49 #446422 seconds slower than yesterdays arkle. Not as fast it looked.

March 14, 2007 at 19:41 #44643Didn’t see any replays but did Well Chief bounce after he fell?

No, but any cheque i write for the next month will, only Black Jack can save me now
March 14, 2007 at 23:09 #44645Oh come on Danny, Moscow Flyer would of needed a walking stick the pace they went at his age.
Roly very interesting point about Ashley Brook; it definitely was rallying when it fell, it could of given VPU something to think about.

Moscow may of struggled early on but he would have stayed on well he would have defo finished at least in front of Justified in 5th and that’s AT LEAST.
