I’ve got two early selections here. The odds, combined with the very good chance that we won’t even see them here, dictates that I’m obviously just speculating just now.
Madonna 40-1
Shale 33-1March 24, 2021 at 11:04 #1532152NOON STAR 33/1
Won very well at Nottingham got a lot of ability no news from Stoute but feel she be very good horse
March 24, 2021 at 11:14 #1532157Indigo girl 16s and shale 28s my two bullets
March 24, 2021 at 18:03 #1532231Santa Barbara 13-2 ew
March 24, 2021 at 18:53 #1532242I don’t think SB will stay this, she looks all speed. Her half brothers and sisters were all best at 8-10F aswell.
AOBs latest stable tour says as much as –
March 24, 2021 at 20:12 #1532268He says 10f and maybe further in his stable tour. Worth a crack.
April 15, 2021 at 15:59 #1536588I’m taking a wild swing on Crystal Starlet who debuts for Sir Mike tomorrow at Newbury. I say wild swing because she doesn’t even hold an Oaks entry, is as yet unraced and we all know that Stoute likes to bring his along slowly.
That being said I do love the bloodline on the dam’s side and have always followed them fairly closely. This one’s a first foal out of the more than useful Crystal Zvezda, herself a half sister to Crystal Ocean (they love their crystal do the Rothschilds).
If she can put a good hoof forward tomorrow in what looks a decent maiden (a full sister to Too Darn Hot opposes) then a quick step into group company could come calling. She could easily end up being more of a Ribblesdale filly, but at 66/1 with William Hill I’ve decided to swing the bat.
EDIT: Make that 75/1 with a boost
April 16, 2021 at 16:06 #1536776Well I think the less said about that the better
April 25, 2021 at 18:30 #1537938Noon Star won again today. If she were to win the Oaks, I assume she would be the first ever Classic winner to have won at Wetherby?
April 25, 2021 at 19:31 #1537949Cork All Star, Wetherby has only been a flat track since 2015
April 25, 2021 at 20:22 #1537959That is what I mean. I still cannot get used to seeing Flat racing at Wetherby.
April 26, 2021 at 13:02 #1538010Listen will issue a statement saying Santa Barbara has defacated some solid looking manure, and she’ll be backed in to 1/2 for this.
BUY THE SUN
April 26, 2021 at 15:04 #1538017Got my tickets this morning.
May 2, 2021 at 09:52 #1539375Added Ashaari 28-1 ew for now. See how she gets on today.
May 2, 2021 at 12:07 #1539395Saffron Beach EW @ 33/1
Bred along similar lines to Mishriff so you would hope she will get further than a mile as she goes on.
May 5, 2021 at 15:10 #1539781Dubai fountain and mother earth strongly advertising the fillies mile form
Really hope indigo girl runs here but there are rumours that her target is the prix de Diane
May 8, 2021 at 20:17 #1540143It would be nice if someone in the racing media would ask one of the gosdens about indigo girl
I’m assuming she’s had a setback and nobody sees fit to tell the betting public because she’s not getting any entries
Have cashed out my bet for this
