Backed Teaforthree at 14s before he won Saturday. Nice prep, AP very pleased, jockey thinks he will stay all day.
With you on this JJM, think he has every chance particularly if we have a drop or two of rain, 12/1’s still available with Hills but he’s as low as 7’s with others.
March 1, 2012 at 10:21 #394289Totally on tea too. I think he should be shorter. Has course form with the likes of join together who would be a lot shorter than 12s is he was going here.
Tea jumps well, is a big solid type and will handle the large field. Will keep pecking at him for this get a bit more of that 12s.

I do hope you are wrong, I’ve searched the net and can’t find any confirmation.
She’s a really lovely mare it would be a terrible loss, if anyone knows one way or the other please post

Thankfully this is incorrect, I can confirm that MDAC is fine after the fall at Sandown, just trawled through Lawney Hill’s Twitter page to find out! You can sleep fine tonight CS…
March 1, 2012 at 22:29 #394411I’m glad I’m not the only one who fancies Askanna – leapt off the page when I looked at the entries – goes well on good ground and stays well. May not be good enough but at 50-1 I’m happy to cover it.
March 2, 2012 at 12:08 #394493Had a word for Up the Beat, anyone know anything? Chances?
March 2, 2012 at 13:29 #394504Huge early fan of up the beat. National type through and through. Has run with top weight in a gruelling test already in Ireland and I expect him to go Kim Muir route to be honest. Top weights have a tremendous record in that one.

That’s why i said on the commentary – there was nothing elsewhere that confirmed it was a fatal fall.
In fact everything else said she was still a runner !
March 8, 2012 at 08:46 #395297I’m sure everyone who follows Pointing and Hunters is glad to hear Mid Div is well. thanks for the info.
Anyone intersted in this race might want to check the Albert Bartlett thread where an exchange of views on The National Hunt Chase has sprung up recently.
It would appear I’m far from the only one who’s sweet on the chances of the Irish mare, ASKANNA
