well done (prince)i dont bet in the lincoln.but i hope you win .after all your hardwork, trouble
March 21, 2008 at 21:14 #153216Very Wise HAS actually raced on soft before and has also raced twice on good to soft soft in places, so the ground shouldn’t be a worry and he has to go on the shortlist.
The Lincoln is a nightmare of a race but my four against the field are…
Escape Route
Very Wise
Prince Forever
Dhaular DharMarch 21, 2008 at 21:25 #153219Anyone like the Hannon horse? Vitznau. Good reasons why it won’t win please, it’s just that it jumped out at me…Thanks. ( And then I won’t back it!)
March 21, 2008 at 21:35 #153223I like this Prince guy mines got placed… can I get paid now? I’m going fishing tomorrow
March 21, 2008 at 21:37 #153224Just noticed one who looks forgotten about in Lincoln, Donald McCains horse Temple Place @ 50-1, won a 1m2f (I think) race at chester last year at 50-1, is a Sadlers Wells/Gulch like Refuse To Bend, couldn’t be written out of it as may have targetted this race for some time, and wasn’t even backed last time he won.
March 21, 2008 at 22:19 #153230Small bet from me
VITZNAU ,only problem i have is RICHARD HUGHES not a fan and can see him getting stuck behind a wall of horses and finishing like a train

As i say small bet
March 22, 2008 at 07:32 #153247There really doesn’t look to be much pace on here, so it will be a struggle for the hold up horses and this renewal looks trickier than ever.
A small stake on Classic Port each way for me.
March 22, 2008 at 11:38 #153273Probably just a small for me bet as well as I’m still in denial that the flat season is starting!
Classic Port (most likely e/w) & Vitznau.March 22, 2008 at 12:13 #153280Bet Vitznau at 12/1 with VC this morning ew. Into 8/1 with them now.

Well done DJ and Prince C.
March 22, 2008 at 17:14 #153317Very interesting post Prince. Do you think such analysis is valid in races like the Newbury Spring Cup and other big mile handicaps?
March 22, 2008 at 17:31 #153320Cheers Reet.
March 22, 2008 at 17:51 #153324Well done DJ,PC
Excellent analysis PC.
March 25, 2008 at 16:38 #153734I’ve only just come back from an easter stay in Newmarket so this is the first chance I’ve had to comment on this so please forgive the lateness of it
.My daughter works for Mark Thompson and she said the yard got more enthusiastic about Smokey Oakey’s chances with every snowflake or drop of rain that fell. On that, we backed him and our winnings paid for our weekend
.The yard have won Jimmy Quinn’s weight in Easter eggs. Now while he might be a lightweight, that’s a lot of chocolate! The chocoholics amongst them can’t wait
