March 14, 2016 at 20:02 #1237439Diamond King Coral Cup.
“The Shareef dont like it…..Rock the Kasbah 14/1,Rock the Casbah”. Class Horse this. Good luck.
March 14, 2016 at 22:18 #1237474Johns Spirit in the Plate – without any doubt been laid out for this one race
March 15, 2016 at 08:14 #1237541Willie Mullins really does hate the Ante-Post punter…He’s done himself No favours switching Vautour this late in the game!
March 15, 2016 at 08:25 #1237542SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointing!!!
March 15, 2016 at 08:27 #1237543What a shame!!
Willie Mullins No NO NO NO NO !!
March 15, 2016 at 08:39 #1237547The power of Walsh! Gets Yorkhill to the Neptune and now this just so he’s not missing rides…scandalous decision…pure crazy…and why treat punters with no respect whatsoever over the last month or so!
March 15, 2016 at 09:17 #1237561I remember Ruby Walsh being asked what the main difference was between Willie Mullins and Paul Nicholls. He said that Paul Nicholls laid out a programme for his horses, whereas Mullins was constantly changing his mind.
Make no mistake, this is poor PR from connections. Rich Ricci made the comment just recently that Vautour was being aimed at the Gold Cup, but Mullins came on The Morning Line today and said that he preferred the Ryanair but kept it to himself. Now, before anyone can say that we all know the risks of antepost gambling, the conflicting reports about his homework – last week he was working well, today we were told ‘he wasn’t pulling up any trees’ – and Mullins not keeping the public informed is reprehensible.
I don’t remember Paul Nicholls being this haphazard when he had Kauto Star, Denman, Big Bucks, Master Minded et al.
This guy is a machine. All he does is work out and pick winners. Talk about fit. You should see him without his shirt off, serious side of beef.
March 15, 2016 at 09:31 #1237567Paul Townend surely getting pissed off with this carry on,gone from having a ride on Vautour or Djakadam in the Gold Cup to perhaos not having any ride at all. It would take a huge set of balls but could he be ready to up sticks? Probably cutting his nose off to spite his face if he does but i can only imagine how i’d feel going from having the ride on one of 2 of the leading contenders in the Gold Cup to having no ride at all or end up on some outsider and who knows when Ruby’ll retire anyway.
March 16, 2016 at 14:07 #1237998Min….is the certainty, or as near to such a thing as you’ll find next week.
Mullins seemed pretty sweet on Yorkhill if I interpreted his comments correctly
I certainly rate Yorkhill a better horse than Min but alas where’s he going to run???.I’ve left that to the Choir Master of Musical chairs himself thats why I’m on Altior for the ‘Supreme’a horse who has had one and only target.
TAPK knows! He’s like an Assassin
March 16, 2016 at 19:22 #1238130Gord i hope you visit novice hurdle thread on this forum i put this YORKHILL up for neptune last year so happy they went for this race. bit gutted over MIN but wins for DIAMOND KING and SPRINTER SACRE in better mood now.
THISTLECRACK at 25/1 and LIMINI 7/2 got for tomorrow to can’t wait
March 17, 2016 at 09:01 #1238287Good luck with ‘Thistlecrack’ today Darren that would be some Foresight if yo pull that off.I’m on Saphir du rheu at 33/1 and Black Hercules at 70’s,follow that with Johns Spirit at 16/1,Upswing at 16/1 and Box Office at 25/1 and TAPK’s ready for the 2nd half to Kick off.Tomorrows the big payday with Cue Card but I’m still hoping Mullins and Nicholls can hit the target too.All to play for in whats another magical festival….RIP No More Heroes he paid the ultimate price for our pleasure. As for Sprinter Sacre..Unbelievable story!
March 17, 2016 at 13:56 #1238413Anyone wanting a thrill for 4 days without having to endure the nightmare of which horse runs where in the world of Willie Mullins should take the Willie Mullins to have 10 winners or more at 5/2.(Now 5/1 that bet!) At least that way we are cheering everything he runs and not worrying about whether the likes of my banker Black Hercules goes ‘down in trip or up in trip or stays at the same trip (3m)’ as Danny Mullins suggested yesterday.Of course TAPK has taken the 8/1 about this horse winning any race at the festival because thats what I do.
Willie willie.he does this every year, plays musical chairs with his horses targets but he’ll have to try harder to catch TAPK out.My festival banker Black Hercules looks like going for the JLT now and all I can say to that is……Bring it on,not that I think he’s the good thing like I did the 4 miler but Willie knows best and I know Willie.TAPK has actually backed the horse at 70’s for the JLT but I aint going to kid myself he can beat More of that over 21/2m…Or maybe I am! Mind you he’s out to 14’s for the 4 miler so it might be time to take some more of that…Flashbacks of Sir des Champs all over again.
Another legendary post from The King of Ante-Post…You can set your clock by him.Black Hercules was never going to lose that if he jumped…And he did perfectly!
March 17, 2016 at 15:04 #1238432If only that was Willies 10th Winner….Should have been but Vautour at Evs was incredible.

Hats off to you TAPK, you kept the faith and he did the business for you.
His jumping was spot on, get your wheelbarrow ready for your winnings
March 17, 2016 at 15:31 #1238443… get your wheelbarrow ready for your winnings
He’ll need to buy a second wheelbarrow; the first one is being used to transport his ego!
