I see Sober Glory won his novice hurdle over 4 seconds quicker than Tutti Quanti in the William Hill hurdle yesterday, carrying only 2 lb less. They both pretty much won on the bridle.
If the latter is being seriously considered to be supplemented for the Champion Hurdle then it’s looking like Hobbs’s original assessment of SG as a potential star might well be accurate.February 12, 2026 at 23:39 #1754439What did Willie say about Sober and Free Spirit in the stable tour? I’m interested in the Moscow Flyer horses even though it wasn’t a strong edition. Was working today and only got to the shop at lunchtime- somebody else had already got to the last Racing Post before me. How disappointing.
February 13, 2026 at 09:59 #1754449If you have a betting shop nearby. Ask in there if they still have yesterday’s copy. I know my local keep them for recycle

February 16, 2026 at 10:46 #1754944The more I look at it, the more I think Leader d’Allier will be the mount of Paul Townend and therefore be nothing like a 16/1 price. Would expect a front-running ride.
