He must really fancy ABP for the Gold Cup if that’s the case I’d imagine
Blackbeard to conquer the World
February 9, 2021 at 16:54 #1522350Kemboy hasn’t really performed at Cheltenham , I reckon Sunday was his gold cup everything after is a bonus
February 10, 2021 at 15:21 #1522474The Storyteller @ 22/1
This is now the fifth consecutive Cheltenham i have backed him.
February 10, 2021 at 17:29 #1522495Kemboy hasn’t really performed at Cheltenham
Yes him and 10 others behind Santini in 2020 Gold Cup
Blackbeard to conquer the World
February 10, 2021 at 21:55 #1522534At least when kemboy retires they can say he won a gold cup Sat proved Santini is getting slower and softer , he,s minella Rocco … he,ll be running in hunter chases like him soon enough , you been taking the 16-1 for the GC ?
February 11, 2021 at 00:08 #1522551Think the market has the absolutely spot on for once.
Paisley Park and Thyme Hill totally different league to anything else here. Playing for 3rd if you bet anything else or your chancing that paisleys problem resurfaces. If the heart issue didn’t crop up last season and you ignore the run in the stayers hurdle we would be potentially talking about an all time great in the staying hurdle division and the fact that thyme hill is giving him a run for his money this season is not because Paisley has gotten worse but more that thyme hill is also some animal, I mean thyme hill was a bit unlucky not to win the Albert Bartlett last season and that form has been cranked so many times.
These 2 stand out and I honestly think this is the one race not to be going for a long shot each way but just going for the straight win as I really think it’s just 3rd place up for grabs here
February 11, 2021 at 00:17 #1522553I’ll definitely be backing Kemboy if he runs here. A first division top notcher (Staying chases) running in a 4th division race (Staying hurdles). He will win if he runs.
BUY THE SUN
February 11, 2021 at 10:24 #1522574Diol Ker ew 50’s for Noel
Meade, 1/2 length behind Sam’s Profile in heavy ground at Gowran (grade 2).That was his first run at 3m only 5 starts over hurdles and was closing back on the winner. Handles all ground but hope G/S would see an improvement.
Hopefully get few more places on the day for 33’s.
February 11, 2021 at 13:03 #1522593you been taking the 16-1 for the GC ?
I haven’t
Has Henderson said anything since the Cotswolds?
I’d rather hear something as it wasn’t pretty the way he walked over the line
it could be he needed a hard race to get more fitness
yet Henderson said he didn’t want a hard race..Blackbeard to conquer the World
February 11, 2021 at 14:05 #1522597Not too worried about Santini’s run. One could argue he had a harder time in the 2020 Cotswold Chase as he was in a ding-dong battle with BDM a fair way out, this time it was a case of keeping him going down the straight for 3rd at a different track and accepting it.
Ready to roll in March one would imagineFebruary 11, 2021 at 15:38 #1522612Mike he was sully and jumped sloppily throughout , Aidan at least 3 times asked him to pickup and he delievered nothing , I really can’t see where you can pick any positives from it ? , ask yourself why he’s double the price he was at the start of the season ….getting slower and softer
February 11, 2021 at 18:39 #1522634Why is he double the price he was at the start of the season? That’s an easy answer. He not run at Cheltenham yet.
February 11, 2021 at 19:33 #1522645Hope you have deep pockets Mike
February 15, 2021 at 23:41 #1523226Ronald pump at 16’s for me.
2nd to honeysuckle last time when staying on and almost grabbing her, only got a clear run in the last 200 yards in the race last year.
My bet of the week.
February 15, 2021 at 23:51 #1523230The proximity to Honeysuckle is massively flattering to Ronald Pump. They went zero gallop in the Hattons Grace which didn’t benefit anyone involved. A similar situation almost ensued in the Irish Champion Hurdle but for Rachael being savvy to it and kicking on.
I wouldn’t rule Ronald Pump out of the places, but by no means would I lean too heavily on the Fairyhouse performance.
February 16, 2021 at 00:12 #1523235Doubt honeysuckle was fully fit for the Hatton grace
She had a prep run the previous year
Certainly seemed to improve a tonne for the run
March 12, 2021 at 11:15 #1529133Thyme Hill is out. Gutted.
