Another lost at Perth on Monday. I saw her death reported on social media at the time but nothing from racing media, connections or course. Sadly confirmed on the BHA site today. R.I.P. Molly.
Poor horse, when they came round the second time you could see her in the background being held by someone and barely trying to stand on three feet. No screens, nothing. Just too painful too watch…..
This truly is another low when you can’t hide a suffering horse in front of the stands.May she rest in peace.
The horse you can see being held is Gavin, the leader who fell bringing down Solway Molly. I assume Solway Molly was fatally injured running loose following the fall, you can see her following the field for the next few fences before she goes out of camera shot.
You could be right Dragut, but why was that horse in the back struggling to stay on it’s feet and not putting any weight on it’s left front leg?
