Welcome to Select 3 Horses jump season competition,
which will run through to Grand National Day on Saturday 13th April 2024.

The Winner will receive £20 and Best Nap will now be played just for fun.
You can choose your 3 horses to win from any race meeting Jumps or Flat taking part in the UK and Ireland only.
If you would like to add a reserve for each horse chosen that will be fine or you can add your reserves from other meetings.


Points will be paid at SP i.e

10/11 – 0.5 points

11/10 – 1.0 point

9/4 – 2 points

11/4 – 2.5 points etc……

One horse can be Napped for double points and any Naps priced at 9/4, 11/4 and 100/30 will receive an extra 0.5 points. This applies to Naps only, normal points apply if your horse is not your Nap.

You can also choose a reserve Nap by indicating nb by the side of the horse.
If you forget your Nap then the first horse chosen will become the Nap selection.
If your Nap is a non-runner then your nb (next best) or first reserve becomes your Nap. 
In the event of a disqualification first past the post will be paid as well as the new winner and in the event of a dead heat both horses will be paid out at full SP.

Horses can be entered at any time of the day, there is no deadline.
If you need to edit your selections, please make a new post.

Many thanks to Hot Fuss for stepping in and offering to share the running of this competition with me and run the Flat section of this competition which proved very enjoyable with an unpredicted finish and Raymo winning with a 25/1 Nap and 5/1 winner. Can you do it again Raymo?

It’s now time for HF to take a break and enjoy taking part in the competition as a player while I keep tabs of the scores again until Grand National Day next year.

Hope to welcome back all the old players and perhaps some new ones, everyone is welcome to play.
