ToormoreMay 3, 2014 at 13:15 #477834That’s us all out…already
May 3, 2014 at 13:28 #477838This shows how hard it is to get anywhere near to landing it. The above are all out after one leg with just two still in for the place part. One of those two being Cormack, but his perm would have cost £1,458.
May 3, 2014 at 13:48 #477841I’m expensive to keep Mr P
May 3, 2014 at 15:09 #477862A stupid and insulting bet.
May 3, 2014 at 15:10 #477863There you are Mr P – 4 virtual winning lines on the place element, each paying £914. I am expensive, but I try to pay my way!
May 3, 2014 at 15:41 #477874Was just about to see what the place part paid as I was one leg off it for my £4 layout. I’d never expect to win this but do play the big rollovers hoping to get the place part for a modest stake.
Looks like you would have trousered £2,198, but doubt that anyone laying out such stakes on a regular basis would ever make a regular profit.
Roll on/over next week
May 3, 2014 at 21:03 #477929I’m surprised one of the big players syndicate hasn’t won it, if they’ve been playing the last 2 weeks they would have already lost a fair bit
May 4, 2014 at 11:28 #478009Even with their big permutations Tony, results have been so erratic the winners would have been very hard to cover, as has indeed panned out.
May 10, 2014 at 00:03 #478549Should be interesting today with anyone who survives the first four legs then having the puzzles of the Swinton Hurdle and Victoria cup awaiting them.
I will double my stake of last week to a massive £8, hoping to get the consolation of the place dividend.
Or would I get better value from four lucky dips on the Lotto? Only Ginge could work that out
