In the interviews with the media Zelensky had an interpreter. He should have had one when he met Trump and Vance. It would have given him more time to formulate an answer. Just imagine Trump speaking in a second language given that he’s never managed it with his first.

You had me laughing at that Moe. You are absolutely right, an interpreter perhaps would have
given Zelensky a few minute to gather his thoughts before responding. It could maybe have taken
the heat out of the situation.March 4, 2025 at 18:03 #1721832I see that Zelensky has changed his tune now he knows Trump is not bluffing. The European leaders put on a show for the cameras on Sunday but I suspect behind the scenes they were not happy with Zelensky and told him he is finished without American support.

In an idle moment I looked up the wiki entry for “False or misleading statements by Donald Trump”.
There’s a note at the start that says, “This article may be too long to read and navigate comfortably”.March 4, 2025 at 21:13 #1721871Trump will say what ever is required to get what he wants , whether it’s factial is irrelevant , the US public put a convicted felon in the white house , they shouldn’t and can’t complain , it you put a cannibal in the kitchen don’t expect to get a salad for lunch …
March 4, 2025 at 22:27 #1721881Trump is doing exactly what he said he would, and what the majority of American people voted for.
Quite the opposite has happened here.
March 5, 2025 at 07:54 #1721903Trump got 49.8% of the popular vote. That’s excluding the 36% of the electorate who didn’t even bother turning up which is a far bigger number than any candidate got.
Whichever way you look at it, he was not voted for by a majority of Americans.
