Is it just me being a jump enthusiast or is anybody else unable to wait for the jumps to start proper at the end of October early November when there is good racing and where it rare to see poor rides on the regular basis you get on the flat.

Flat racing at it’s best.
Not only have we got TRF legends meet up on the 6th at Nottingham, not one to miss be there or be square, it’s also TAPK birthday weekend so it will give plenty of you chance to give him the bumps. The Coral Eclipse is run on the very same day. Then there is the King George later in the month where Ektihaam will run them ragged giving security Sid from William Hill nightmares as the firm go bust in the process.
I’m currently in the process of booking tickets for the Wednesday at Glorious Goodwood featuring race the Sussex stakes on the 31st of July where I’m hoping Toronado the best miler in the world turns up as that’s the reason I’m going, to see my horse in the flesh oh and maybe Dawn Approach will be there too, if neither show 3rd prize will be a maths lesson from Gingertipster.
Yep, roll on July.

I agree with you no idea, without Frankel this year’s flat racing season seems rather insipid and can’t wait until the proper racing starts again, however I do need time to top up my bank balance again after a pretty disastrous Aintree.
June 27, 2013 at 02:42 #444096Dawn Approach, Sky Lantern, Estimate … and more to come. What’s not to like.
This is my favourite time of the year, I love flat racing and no way is it boring.
Roll on the Sussex Stakes, The July Cup, Glorious Goodwood and endless days at Newmarket, my local track.
