Woolf, why do you even bother with the game if it makes you this bitter and twisted?
I’d advise you to find a hobby you can enjoy mate.
July 9, 2015 at 08:13 #1126908Early prices available on the GT v Woolf tipping battle (available until 09:30, subject to restrictions and trading decisions):
GT: 1/25
Woolf: 14/1I’ll have 23 points @ 14/1 Woolf* (min 12/1) please.
Anyone can have a lucky win over a year.
Either that, or I’ll make sure he wins.
The game’s bent.

GT: 1/25
Woolf: 14/1What are the odds on a draw? Or does it go to a forum vote in the event of a tie? Who is the more liable of the two to get the popular support from the boards? Is it a scenario where punters are secretly hoping neither of them win?
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

GT: 1/25
Woolf: 14/1Terrible odds. To a 100% book I’d be going:
1/25 Ginger
25/1 Woolf.I realise you are the bookie in this case but I’d be wanting 40/1 to back Woolf and Ginger ……… well I doubt even Harry Findlay would play at those odds.

I thought Ginger was putting his selections up after he’d already backed them. No real need to worry if the odds contract after your own cash is on.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

It’s all too obvious: Gingerbookie puts up tips he isn’t going to back himself. The 56,763 TRF lemmings (less some of the 20 or so who actually contribute) then rush to get their 10-bobs on at the advised prices, the prices collapse and Ginger is then left with a secret rick to pile his ponies on
Thing is, Ginger is just so damn good that the throwaway lemming-feed also makes a profit
Sussed you Ginger haven’t I?
Doncha just love overbroke books

Value Is EverythingJuly 9, 2015 at 19:31 #1127114I find this thread particularly interesting because we all have differing opinions !!
For what it is worth I have had accounts closed ( Ladbrokes,Corals, Stan James) purely and simply because I won. Each way filth admittedly but I did win. It is a fact of life that if you consistently win then you will find it difficult to get on!
Go ask Patrick Veitch some of the tricks he has used to get on.
We used to put on big bets for a certain on course bookmaker and if he had multiples we had to split them up and put them on in separate shops!! Imagine trying to split a heinz up and put it on in fifty seven shops!! LOL
It is all part of the fun trying to get on!Just enjoy the cat and mouse and stop moaning
