Bets on day one of festival

My two main bets of the week will be Grangeclare West and Golden Ace, and I’m hoping she lines up in The Champion Hurdle on Friday.

Home by the Lee bombed out in the stayers which is unfortunate, but notice that my OLD friend Lord Erskine is down for Tuesday, so will be backing that (currently 33/40s)

4.50 can’t decide. Kitz probably just wins and could even be a gold cup horse next year, but is there going to be Punchestown result weirdness? Kappa Jy Pyke maybe. Interested to see July Flower over the trip as 3rd in French champion hurdle
5.25 Dunno. Tacograph? Up Jody!!
6.05 Majborough to boss it, Walsh to secretly give the two fingers to his soon to be ex employers
6.35 Mr Ragstone- stable jockey bookings took noticeably longer to appear than the other bumper suggesting golden boy’s choice was harder here. Up Jody!!!

Mullins will probably be well ahead by weds night. Its crazy he has so many grade 1 horses while the others have the odd one or two. Im sure it is a combination of factors the main one imho being the buying of the right type of horse.

3.05. – this is as competitive a handicap hurdle as you will see. I’m going to bet Matt Connor but think it will drift from the current 14s

3.40 – Balko Dange, has run Some good races, best of them at leopardstown (3rd to bowensonfire). Fell in the county but hope back on better ground he can get a place at 40s. Been a long season for him tho.

Only other bet is 6.05 Red seagull. Ran with promise last time, switched back from hurdles to the flat . Not sure why. Hopefully an ew bet to had with him tomorrow

My understanding from that article was about the confidence of a past race, and that today he can reverse form rather than he will reverse form. When he super-oozes confidence he’s usually slagging off the competition
