Superstar
May 1, 2026 at 18:47 #1765515Absolute superstar. Willie could win them all again next season (CH, QM and GC)….
May 1, 2026 at 18:47 #1765516She sure is but it was a really mediocre renewal.
May 1, 2026 at 18:56 #17655177:10 In My Teens 10/1 WIN and Day Trader 40/1 EW.
May 1, 2026 at 19:01 #17655187:10 Added Bridgehead 28/1 EW. Stable in quite decent form, this one had a pipe-opener at Bellewstown three weeks ago.
May 1, 2026 at 19:34 #1765520I’ve said before and I still believe it, that the top 2 mile hurdlers are all actually 2m4f horses…..Lossiemouth included. She’s good, but that’s as far as it is…..As usual, people getting carried away…..end of season form isn’t to be trusted.
There isn’t one decent 2m specialist around. (well there is, but he’s finished jumping)

Agree she’s not an all time great and GM is right it was a mediocre renewal- the division has been poor for years, but she still turns up and wins, she’s a star of the moment.

Couldn’t agree more. But, she is reliable, has no problems coming over to GB and never seems to lose her form.

May 1, 2026 at 23:51 #1765554Last Day, and been a great week.
The Saturday always dominated by the three big handicaps, which are always crazy competitive.
This year though, the two chases in particular are outstanding renewals, and the 1505 in particular is easily in the top five handicaps there’s been this season. Twenty Two Runners, and I can only rule one out. In the end, had to go with three.
Shanbally Kid won it last year, seven pounds higher here, but the seven pounds wouldn’t have stopped him last year. Not concerned with his PU at Fairyhouse. Fishery Lane is one I haven’t given up on at all, and old Duffle Coat is a huge price if Fairyhouse was just to blow cobwebs away. A big if
Went for 2025 in the next with Bill Baxter, and also going with fellow Brit, Dartmoor Pirate. This is another fabulous renewal
Going with Escaria Ten in the opener, and I’ll round off with Kopek De Mee in that mad hurdle

May 2, 2026 at 14:39 #1765647Hope Jordan Gainford is alright. Think the horse rolled down the bank, hopefully not over him on the way.
May 2, 2026 at 14:45 #1765648Looked quite nasty, hope both are okay.
