Nice one Green. Bobby you had 50/1 EW on Moab that’s a nice EW shout.
April 28, 2026 at 15:57 #1765116Thanks Wilts and Ruby. He’s powerful alright, a fair beast.
Was getting excited about Larzac but he found nothing, needs either an extra half mile at least, or a wind op- not sure which.
(Or he’s just no good, but he certainly travelled like he might be in the mix)
Pleased for Kalix’s jockey

April 28, 2026 at 16:11 #1765119A poor ride from Townend there again.
Only 3rd in the Jockeys championship this season well behind young O’Keefe also who has nowhere near the same calibre of rides but does ride an awful lot more.
Townend really doesn’t appear to ride much since he became Willie’s No1. I wonder does he have niggling issues as Ruby was riding 50 to 100 more a season at the same age.

April 28, 2026 at 16:49 #1765126Went for Kappa Jy Pyke in the end though I do like Oscar’s Brother Ruby- he finished off very well at Cheltenham.
April 28, 2026 at 16:57 #1765127Western Fold is hardy- he’s been on the go for ages. Keeps the trainers’ championship interesting.

I had a good look at him, but there was nothing to suggest he’d turn the corner today. But, at least the trainers’ championship remains somehow interesting.

April 28, 2026 at 17:44 #1765140I’m really struggling with the William Hill app. Can’t seem to negotiate myself around it and when I’m watching a race sometimes half way through it goes off screen. So many variations on bets that I ended up betting Moab but only to finish in the first two. The old site which I can access on Mikes iPad is still ok but I can’t use that all the time. Can access the old site on my computer at home but that’s no good when I’m away from home. Can’t seem to bet in running either which I like doing.
April 28, 2026 at 17:45 #176514118:05 Marine Nationale 5/2 WIN and in a reverse forecast with Majborough. Hope we’ll get the race we’re looking forward to.

Missed that you had him Ruby, great stuff. Fair dues to the trainer he picks some nice horses and has had plenty of big wins for the numbers he has.
