What a horse, given how he ran over 2m lst season, to do that today was incredible,

Ben, regards to TNG, do you think he will go chasing? Stayers looks ideal to my eye, given hes had pelvic issues, or have they stated he will go chasing, willie looks like hes going to be overloaded with chasers next season at this stage

Honestly it’s purely guess work on my behalf, you may be right that’s he’s a stayers hurdle horse. Just thought it was worth a punt for the 3m novice chase as Willie prefers to send his good stayers chasing rather than staying over hurdles. Looks like he should handle the larger obstacles fine imo so I can see Willie trying his luck to find out if he has a gold cup horse on his hands.

In the flat race I’ve gone for Madmansgame 40/1 and Queen of Mercy 125/1, both £2.50 ew, not at all confident in either so it’s just to add some excitement to the race. Probably be the top two in the market drawing miles clear of the others but gotta take these shorties on.

De Bromhead admitted he should not have run Bob Olinger yesterday.

He also said Minella Indo was “in super form”.

Looks like he is having a bit of a nightmare.

Given the stable form, I an not sure I would want to be smashing into Honeysuckle at a short price.

    I’ve done a
Facile Vega/Honeysuckle/Vauban treble so will want a normal Honeysuckle turning up if the other 2 show their best.

ham – I forgot to add re The Nice Guy, going on the betting it seems like Willie’s favouring sending him chasing, I think he was 14/1 and 12/1 for the stayers after he won at Cheltenham, books are offering 10/1 now. Compared to the Brown Advisory betting in which he was 10/1 after Cheltenham and is 5/1 now.

The exchange also has it looking like he’ll go chasing, he’s 6/1 there for the Brown Advisory and 16/1 for the stayers.

Allaho may well be one of the best chasers never to have run in a GC …… HDB horses look over the top , Indo ran another stinker , I’m have tempted to try an take Honeysuckle on but unless it’s CH then she should beat the remainder even if only 80% , we,ll see how tomorrow goes , Royal Rev gave me another nice priced winner , hitting form as the season ends …..

Well done win Crosshill VtC, I thought mine was gonna hang on. Good win by Royal Rendezvous Jeff, going the right way round, I should have paid more attention to Townend’s choice.

It has to be a concern that Minella Indo has had one hard race too many. He did not look like he was enjoying it at all today.

Mullins confirms the nice guy goes chasing, from the RP –

“That’s why he took that position there. He came wide and, I know Danny’s horse was coming back at the line, but The Nice Guy was just idling in front.”

He added: “Both of them will go chasing next year but we’ll look at sending them out to a summer’s grass first.”
