    Well done folks

I liked the case the Racing Post made for old Call It Magic in the La Touche so I’ve had a little ew tickle on him.

What a tough horse to do that twice in a couple of days!!!

My lad was quite enjoying himself till the snafu but think he would have been beaten anyway. Think Punchestown really need to look at strategic watering of the bends or even laying a new surface under the grass on the turns- some of them still losing their footing today.

I think that Sole Pretender has a reasonable chance at decent odds,
he ran a decent race last time out at Cork, with Bapaume not being able to strike a blow
at the finish, going down by 5L. That one absolutely hosed up last time out at Tramore.

    Sole Pretender 28/1 Paddy Power

Supremely talented horse on his day

    Really enjoyed watching that

    Big gamble on him too

Fury road was appalling, sneezy fosters horses seek to be running very badly atm

Or maybe just the ones I back

Ultimate sh**housery to not have paul on it pretending they never had a big chance in the race lol

Either him or galopin will be at the stayers next year, which one? Has to be KD surely, looks ripe for a fence, though.

Reckon they didn’t risk Paul on it cos he’s a nutter, plus Patrick has more bodyweight to anchor him. If Rachael had ridden a few winners on the first couple of days, Patrick would prob have been jocked off in favour of Paul (unless Jamie Codd had also ridden a lock of winners, which would have got interesting.

I think he’ll stay over hurdles since the trainer is always banging on about how it’s easier to keep them sound over hurdles than going 3m over fences. French Ch hurdle next for him and JdB probably.

Hes not that much of a nutter really though is he? Thats played on a bit much i think, I get the rachel angle but they knew what was about to unfold with the gigantic plunge from 20s to 6s, if paul was jocked up, at decs hes sub 10/1 straight away.

Top stuff regardless and happy for whoever was in the know!

I didn’t know I just thought 16s was to big for an unexposed horse , be interesting to see what they do with him , just hope he stays sound , I’m taking my winnings and heading to the garden …as Clint says a man has to know his limitations !
