Having watched the re-run of
Joseph Henry
getting his just rewards today in the big handicap sprint at Goodwood and
Victoire de Lyphar
running an absolute blinder and proving he is this years Ayr gold Cup winner,i have gone in again on
Evens and Odds
,this time to the tune of £40 e/w at 33/1 with Bet365,who are paying 1/4 odds 1st 5 places! Dandy has proved year after year that he can get his horses bang on for this meeting and i"m very confident he has Evens and Odds tuned to the minute, having Billy Cray claiming 5lb only confirms how well treated this fellow is!
Hey Aragorn, dont forget this one! What was you saying about me losing? Poetry from a Master dont you think?
Thanks for the Kind words Zarkava, thm,Nathan and Pete, you guys all know your stuff too!+£4322
August 1, 2010 at 10:18 #310368Well Done TAPK, VERY good shout.
You are a brave man to lump on a race like that, it’s not for me although you nearly talked me into a bet, my loss!
I’ve settled for the easy pickings at Galway this week, and we’ve both had a very profitable week

Cheers Chelters,i waited 11 months for
Harbinger
!! I have waited 12 months for this! I dont think i could have been more confident! Dandy Nicholls is a Legend!

I"m as Stiff as a board at the moment Bucksy,i have come down to Falmouth for a few days to relax and i"m letting the local Golfers and Kayakers know about the guy who lives up in Derbys that predicts things that will happen on a racecourse months in advance of them actually happening! They think i"m a wizard,i tell them i"m just a King who rules his Kingdom with an Iron Sword and Slays all those who try to take over my throne! Funnily enough when i came out of the sea the other day, looking like Neptune but still reading my Racing Post a local told me,him being a friend of a friend of a friend of the Stewart family, that
Big Bucks
will be jumping fences again next season!!!
Of course me being me has only gone and had £25 e/w for the Gold cup at 33/1! What do you reckon?+£4272
August 3, 2010 at 12:56 #310722I’d say it’s a stone-cold bonking certainty he’s in the Hennessy…already made noises about clearing Denman out of the way for him in that race..and he’d run off 159..oh my..will be 5/2 for the GC in no time

Of course me being me has only gone and had £25 e/w for the Gold cup at 33/1! What do you reckon? It’s sounds the obvious route to me, I rather expected it as neither of the 11-Y-Olds can win next year and there are several staying hurdlers on the horizon all capable of winning a World Hurdle, For Bill, Quevega, Rite Of Passage, Peddlers Cross to name but four.
An Siorrac will have to be the horse I think he is
August 4, 2010 at 20:09 #311013The undisputed King of Ante-Post betting has returned home from his break in Cornwall and is raring to go again!
Valery Borzov
is my next big hit in the Ayr Gold Cup!I know exactly how Dandys mind works and if Valery was still with him,he would have Ayr gold Cup written all over him. Richard Fahey knows this fellow is a soft ground horse who is handicapped to win as soon as he gets his conditions, remember he carried a 1lb less than top weight in last years Stewards Cup,(9-9lb),giving weight to Evens and Odds!He currently is rated 90 and has been as high as 105 so if he does get his ground he will win something for sure! Unfortunately there are no prices on Betfair as yet,so i wont be grabbing any 80"s,i have had £15 e/w at 33/1 with Corals for now!

August 4, 2010 at 20:31 #311018Now that the dust has settled on this years 3 performances of the year,
Workforce
winning the Derby,
Memory
winning the Cherry Hinton and
Harbinger
winning the King George its time to assess the situation!
Memory
has only to turn up in tip top shape (unlike Canford Cliffs) to win her Guineas, that i have no doubt whatsoever, so much so,if i had a 100k lying in a bank i would have had £5k e/w at 16/1,instead i have £150 e/w at the price!(Not included in this thread) I have had 2 glory days with Workforce and Harbinger and feel at the prices
Workforce
is still the bet for the Arc at 15"s on the machine and 4 to place, poor
Gingertipster
has had his pants down with Barry Dennis for £200 at 2/1 for the Arc all because he has jumped in before he thought about Harbingers ground requirements! Silly boy! Anyway i have had £50 at 15"s and £50 at 4"s to place on Workforce for the Arc!

August 6, 2010 at 20:31 #311379A very tricky handicap at Haydock tomorrow run over the mile sees
Collateral Damage
at 16"s coming out of a nightmare box in 16,if the ground has any cut in it he may track over to the stands side and a place in the 1st 4 would not be a bad result! The same applies to
Desert Creek
at 6"s in box 13,he is arguably even better in than the former and is still lightly enough raced to have a bit of improvement! The horse who jumps off the page is
Smokey Oakey
at 14"s,his overall form even considering the fact he hasn"t won for over 2 years is still way ahead of this field! What sways me with this fellow is his draw in 3 so i have had £20 win at 14"s and a £10 win Collateral at 16"s on the machine,i have also had a £10 e/w bet on Collateral at 14/1 with Bet365!

August 7, 2010 at 14:47 #311498For the first time in ages the ground has come right for
Valery Borzov
in the 4,35pm at Haydock today over 6f,he has dropped to a very lenient mark of 90 and with a further 5lb off for his claimer he is my banker of the day at 5/1! I have had a £50 win bet at 6"s on the machine!

You are coming across as a bit of a Pervy Stalker Mr W.Are you getting some sort of Sexual Pleasure every time i put up a loser,as your smiley face suggests?
August 8, 2010 at 10:56 #311684I am no expert regarding French form but apart from Joanna i cant see anything that would put me off
Regal Parade
at Deauville today, his draw could be a concern but the ground and trip should be ideal. His latest victory at Newbury was a bonus at it was to put him spot on for this so i have had £50 at 6.5 on the machine! 20"s on the PMU eh Bucksy? Interesting!

Incredibly there are only 2 Kings in the world of Horseracing and
Dandy Nicholls
is the other one!
Well played Bucksy, i never got anywhere near 20"s on the PMU though!

August 8, 2010 at 17:06 #311738I rate
Evens and odds
highly,it would be a lot to ask of him to emulate his owners stable companion Regal Parade but the pair are very similar in physique and style of running!Evens and Odds clocked a very impressive time over tomorrows course and distance last spring in 1m 9 secs, admittedly it was only a handicap but the race showed this fellow is improving! Interestingly it was Tax free that won last years Abernant from the dissapointing Equiano, the clock showed the race again was run on good fast ground as was Evens and Odds and their time of 1m 10secs just confirms the impression "Evens" left on me! I have had a £30 win at 6/1 with Paddy Power!
I wrote this back in April!
Find a good one and stick with them! BothEvens and Odds
and
Regal Parade
have between them turned an irritating loss into a healthy profit! Knowing how Dandys mind works helps though!!
