    Saddest news from the Racing Post website this evening:

    THE Breeders’ Cup was rocked on Saturday when Points Offthebench, ante-post favourite for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, suffered a fatal injury in his final serious workout at Santa Anita before next weekend’s meeting.

    RIP Points Offthebench a tragic end to a very promising young sprinter, thoughts go out to all connections.

    RIP, what a brilliant horse. Such a freak accident too.
