    I have some late bets, but apart from a few maidens, novices and on course bets most of those are just savers. Do sometimes have top up bets (adding to stakes on horses already advised, either a bigger stake on one who’s already a main bet or making a saver bet a main bet) that don’t always bother logging in/starting the computer up to put on the thread. But at least 90% of the horses I back are on the thread Prof.

    Got two bets for the Hennessey just about to go up.

    Trubshawe came battling back in the etheral plane
    as I strangely expected him to, pitching fine strokes
    of nostalgia, which was all very heart warming
    and convincing and hauntingly accompanied by
    a ghostly Brahms string quartet !
    (I heard the lusty Op. 51 No I in C minor (Full))

    Whether today’s racing present –
    post Desert Orchid’s reign – will be remembered
    with such fondness in the far distant future
    I do rather doubt..
    WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS
    may not quite have the correct resonance
    to put up such a good fight :|
