January 7, 2010 at 07:22 #268389The menace of the dog
You have summed it all up
bleetingly fleetingly
January 7, 2010 at 21:01 #268661I reckon you need to get laid.
January 7, 2010 at 22:33 #268684I reckon you need to get laid.
Have you a system for this?
January 14, 2010 at 17:50 #2698912010 IS 14 days old and I am wondering just what this thread was all about , I know for sure im headin for a seismic change
I need a wise sheep to steer the calm back , its a bit choppy here

January 14, 2010 at 23:28 #269965Good to see you in these
turbulent waters Ricky.
This thread occasionally
surfaces, then goes for
a six month siesta.
For the time, I don’t have anything more
to add so happy to see its descent again.
Others might, have something to rattle about
but most don’t read it,
and I like the quietude,
of no one looking over your shoulder. What this thread is about ?
Well it started as a reaction to Razeen’s
passing, and absence, but then developed
a direction of its own.Aragorn as far as my getting laid,
I presume this is an indirect reference
to the lambing season,
rather than my producing a double yolker,
or being laid out
Tony Blar once said
you only need two things in life
your sanity and your wife. That’s probably what Campbell ordered him to say
what he really meant wasyou only need two things in life
two adoring bushes
January 15, 2010 at 19:49 #270128Not been keeping a close eye in Lounge lately so I’ve done some long overdue spring cleaning.
January 16, 2010 at 00:07 #270158I hope you are not marking my card Mac

I slipped out for some crones
can’t take all these deaths
so have hit the bottle.Actually it’s not that bad,
the menace is playing yesterday
and just seen Joe Cocker
blowing a thousand fuseswith a little help from my friends
Tor lit this place up
Cocker style for his short life
but yes he had ATTITUDE
and may have gone over the top
with too many strawberry fields
in this chill out landscape. Now he is the egg man.
January 16, 2010 at 00:52 #270161I have been main admin twice
Bettys Fair – the replacement
Betfair forum when the Betfair
forum was taken down for three months,
and a smaller forum called FairI never had any trouble on Bettys
but if Adrian Black who was member
had thrown a wobbly
I would have probably smacked him
He was the untouchable member,
but he behaved admirably.
I never had to deal with dissent,
but at max there were only fifty
regulars.
Balance was up to a few tricks
but I have to say it was a tad dull,
mainly because I was the main contributor. You’re the boss on here Mac.
I didn’t see Tor’s dissing of you,
until tonight as I missed his words on
the five thread, in fact when he referred to
his criticism of Big Mac I didn’t realise
he was writing about you.My honest opinion is you might have
overeacted to his words, about you,
and this place being ditchwater dull.
He seemed to be legging it anyway.I must say I have never seen you
so angry, well your Davies spats
do spring to mind.I do appreciate your one hour warning
but at that time I was cooking fish.
Shame I hadn’t looked in, although
I think your mind was made up anyway. This house will always suffer turbulence.
I believe we possibly view that turbulence differently.
I have never run a house this size so can only guess. One more crone for me
that’ll be four dead marines
to bin.January 16, 2010 at 10:05 #270180Aye Gamble – Tor was on the ‘watch’ list from the beginning. Years of this have left me scarred but with an alertness to danger that would shame a red deer on the hill. The Davies spectre seemed to be travelling in the sidecar on Tor’s little trike and the inevitable escalation of words had begun so it was time for the trike to be nudged into the ditch I’m afraid.
They did get from Basing to somewhere near Carlisle though so not bad going by pedal power. Mind, I’ve been less than three white lines behind since the Skelmersdale junction but had to turn off at Blackpool Beach to stick a lit fag into Are Zen?’s inflatable.
Also, in the mist of time, people forget that Davies had been escorted off the bus before I took the steering wheel (I was a clippie then but you need correct change now). Like many, I liked him, in a perverse sort of way, which is the only way with ID, recognising that his inadequacies were not something he had control over.
Of late I’ve been pre-occupied with these Clone Wars and last night the pre-occupation spilled over into some angri-ness, you are right. I had Slumdog on the Sky+ and some booze and was all set for a snooze while the film played only to get stuck in the Lounge with Gervais.
Some say I’m too soft, others that I’m over-sensitive, some, like Tor, that I was the wrong option in those dark days but not many, certainly not Tor, ID or the other clones, have the whole story.
I’m still largely guided by Daylight’s vision and often he fills my thoughts when TRF decisions are needed.
January 16, 2010 at 22:16 #270318I am back
mac
for a
little chatWell I dont like to dwell in the past
but as for the dark days and the question
of who took over this forum, well,
I had an open mind, although I wasn’t
particularly struck on the idea of Jim’s mate
who was anyway – late.Unlike a few others I would have been
happy with a takeover
by Davies and mainly for the side reason
of promoting his 1% exchange, and I thought, by
God, he would finally get it off the ground,
I felt his chances were about 12/1 and Big Tony
lengthened this price and Jim brought it in a bit.
I did have some reservations, mainly because of
his enemies here, but if it had happened
I would certainly have supported him, and unlike a
lot on here, I liked him.I did not know you as well as Davies,
but you left a good impression,
and the fact you and Davies were enemies
did not impair my judgement of your abilities.
I was slighlty baffled by your negative reaction
to him, and this concerned me,
but it certainly did not put me off you. When you were chosen, I was delighted for you, and
felt the forum was in a very safe pair of hands and
I had no qualms about your capability, or energy
for the task. It seemed a fitting solution
particualrly as you selflessly devoted
a lot of your own time earlier, to helping Daylight out
with competitions, and in the end
LRM more or less granted Daylight’s wishes.…off for a krone break
January 16, 2010 at 23:13 #270337I certainly wasn’t rooting for Davies,
I had an open mind, and certainly
some reservations, but you yourself
mentioned liking him perversely,
I also had a perverse pleasure
in the thought of a forum
with battles ahead – with
Jim and some of the old guard
on their mettle and up in arms.As there was a financial agreement
tied to the agreement, I believe you
had the right to fashion the forum
as you pleased. I believe you have
thought through the Daylight legacy
in your decision making, and succeeded
in maintaining the energy of this house
through very difficult times.
I congratulate you on this.If I do have slight criticism,
the adverts for a time annoyed me,
but this issue has now been resolved.
Daylight himself was opposed to pop-ups
and refused a sale on those grounds.
This all happened after his miserable
stalking episode. That is the dark period over,
What next mac ?DEATH AND CLONES AND ANOTHER KRONE
January 16, 2010 at 23:59 #270344I am back in the dark..
Mac you wrote..
Some say I’m too soft, others that I’m over-sensitive, some, like Tor, that I was the wrong option in those dark days but not many, certainly not Tor, ID or the other clones, have the whole story.
If this whole story allude to Jim’s
never mentioned, secret stuff,
that condems Davies, it appears
Davies is umaware of it. In other words
someone has evidence involving Davies,
maybe an allegation.Enough of the dark.
I have been trawling these houses
for ten years.
I will admit to an addiction,
far greater than gambling
and Tor possibly appreciated
the push in leaving here,
because he suffered a similar addiction,
and I would put money on him looking
in now.I will deal with death tomorrow

but your double killing this week
has raised my eyebrows to alert mode.
I am very thankful you have set out your
rationale but I do not fully undersatnd it.tip toe Mentor
Settig himself up as Gervais
certainly got me thinking,
but Tor wasn’t the chief,
I ascertained that, and
he had the decency, finally, to expose
himself to me in private,
as I have related.
I have never known this happen
before and Tor may smack of rebellion,
but he is honest and gives honest views.
Your Basing refernce
seems to suggest you consider
he might have been the unmentionable one? Many admin may have ejected him,
however, although a niggler he posed
no real threat to this house.
As far as him being a clone,
well he fashioned himself on Davies
but one could easily see through
the dress.Tor I wish you better luck on the moors
in treading safelynext up Mac is Are Zen?
January 17, 2010 at 17:55 #270457…convincingly good
Sheepman,
I feel I am a Kwai Chang Caine type character.
I come in peace spouting Eastern Philosophy, but if things kick off, and they always do, I fancy that I’m a bit tasty
Fist,
Your name implies you like a bit of aggro, but heed my advice and leave now before it’s too late.
An Essex Pier is being prepared as I speak for the final conflict between good and evil.
It will make the Brusilov Offensive look like a bit of pushing in the school yard…even better infact numbingly good
The Wimbledon fish and chip shop thrashing that was meted out to you by a father and son combo will be a mere bagatelle compared to what me and my boy will dish out.

very Razeenish…but this posting I failed to understand
I feel I may have been rumbled.

Gamble has served me on a platter to the boss
I think my days may be numbered
Why did he feel he had been rumbled ?
Why did he feel his days were numbered
it did not make sense.Mac I cannot fathom out why you
cut short Are Zen?’s life ?Was there some prompting from Matron
or did you act alone ?
Why kill off a man that mimmicks Razeen
so perfectly, or is Razeen.Tor the closeness of the ? in Are Zen?
linked him to you as you have
similar writing traits but unless
you have a compendium of old truffle
writings – you could never have
got so close to the original article.I believe the guitar aid posting was
a smoke screen, I have to reckon
on a 7/4 jolly Razeen. Are Zen? wrote in paragraphs.
He set out his thought very
logically – he was very confident.
I seem to remember Davies writing in
such a style, but he would not have
an inkling to come back here.
I have to go with Razeen.Mac, I am very interested on your
thinking on the character and why
you detoured to Blackpool and raised
your double-barreled shotgun
to splatter out the brains
of a paddler, before he was truly wet.(edit : linked him to you)
