I’m looking to settle in this Flat season with one online bookie.

Three simple things I’m looking out for:

    – Friendly when it comes to depositing and withdrawing funds from an account. No excessive hoop-jumping when it comes to withdrawals in particular. Plus, if it remembers my account details so I don’t have to key them in everytime I wish to make a deposit, that would be grand.

    – An extensive, wide-range of markets married to efficient oddsmakers, so these markets are released as soon as possible!

    – The least dirtiest of leeches possible. <!– s:wink: –><!– s:wink: –>

Suggestions of BF will be swiftly backhanded.

    Thanks in advance.

imo, you don’t need to look too far.

the online bookie with the widest geographical cover for Flat racing markets I suggest would be Centrebet:

    http://centrebet.com/cust?action=GoRacing

licensed in both Aus and in GB, you can bet Sha Tin to Southwell.

that is more than any UK bookie offers – certainly more than any other stock-exchange quoted bookie anyway.

standing incentives include one roll over SP – once explained to me as being relative peanuts for Aussie bookies, who are used to working to a lot lower retention rate than is standard among UK bookies.

    best regards

It is quite hard to say tbh, imo i think that Sky Bet or William Hill are ok. Ladbrokes are very helpful but the layout is a bit dodgy. Im not a big fan of BF, but if i were you i would probabley go for Sky Bet

Most companies make depositing and withdrawing funds relatively painless, but if you want good customer service don’t go to Ladbrokes.

Bet365 and Paddy Power tend to have their prices up fairly early, with the latter paying out within around 90 seconds of a race ending, but VCBet would probably be my recommendation. Their website is about to be upgraded, they settle bets quickly, their customer service is fair and prompt, and their mobile application isn’t too bad either.

For a wide range of horseracing-based markets, then I would agree that Centrebet is worth a look.

When you bet Ante-post, you want a bookmaker that will give you a price
on any race, anytime, sometimes a year in advance! CORALS are second
    to none!

TBH you need to be opening an account with as many different bookies as possible. This is the only way you will ensure that you will get the best odds available at any given time.

I personally have 9 different accounts and would use them all fairly regularly (the only bookmakers I don’t have an account with are those who don’t accept bets in EURO)

For an Aussie though you have to consider these guys here!

No idea what their prices or customer service is like but it’s worth it for the name alone!

    Incidentally why no Betfair?

I’d give Betfair or Betdaq a try.

I obviously deal with them all, and would say that Bet365 are the best for horseracing.

For Football I tend to use Blue Sq.

In terms of variety Miles then look to Bluesq and Coral (who price up the big Grade 1’s in the US ante-post) and Ladbrokes (early prices on French meetings).

If you’re betting in Aus, Ireland, UK etc. though look no further than Centrebet :)

I think I must have an account with them all and it’s much of a muchness to me. I like BWin for football but they are an overseas bookie and just don’t do racing which is a great shame imo.
Of the UK ones I like Coral best for telephone credit and use their service with commentary,

Good advice all round – sounds like Centrebet will be considered highly.

There is a long story to why I’ll refuse BF and it involves some history I’ve had with them + "it’s politics, all politics" – Moe the Bartender.

How many bookies welcome odds-on-request? Like that Antiguan bookie who framed a market for when McCartney’s gold digger (sorry, forgotten name) would lose her leg on Dancing With The Stars?

I’d recommend Paddy Power too mate

The guaranteed odds offer they do on almost all races is a really good offer if ever your horse drifts and still wins.

I’m with BF though, for my sins.

Ladbrokes are the best out of the major bookmakers i think. Banking is very good there with fast cashouts and instant deposits. Plus ladbrokes will take a decent bet online. At the cheltenham festival i joined a lot of bookmakers online to get the best prices and will hill, stan james and a few more wouldn’t lay bets like 250e/w on 10/1 shots. Limiting stakes to about £100 e/w mainly. I found this totally unreal when it’s the biggest festival of the year with multi million strong markets and they cant even take a decent bet!
