November 1, 2005 at 09:02 #60819A loser and a non runner yesterday meant that we finished the month with a loss of 3.52 points.
As this thread has not been performing at all well recently, I have decided to give it a rest for a while and look round for a new idea.
If anyone has been using the selections, and wishes to know the source, here it is.
Using the Racing Post Naps Table, I find the four correspondents who have the best winners to selections per centage.
From these four I select the two that look most likely to succeed based their most recent results.
That’s it. If anyone wants any further clarification please ask.
Terry.
November 3, 2005 at 10:41 #60820Terry,
Quite a good performance over the period you have been posting. The rules are pretty straightforward, so it doesn’t take long to find a couple of selections. The drawback with following tipsters in form is that they seldom continue their profitable runs long enough to make any appreciable gains. I keep my eye on the tables in the RP and often find that last year’s champion is a candidate for this year’s wooden spoon.
I think the method you have used is probably about as good as it can be. You have certainly been more successful using tipsters in form than you would have been following a few chosen experts for the season.
My advice would be to look at tipsters(including Newmarket, The North, Lambourn etc) and concentrate on those selections or naps around the 6/1 to 12/1 range. Also consider using the Lucky 15 with treble the odds for one winner as a betting medium. I know you have to find four a day but that shouldn’t be too difficult. You only need one 9/2 winner to break even and have the chance of hitting a big pay out with 3 or more winners.
Best of luck.
