well fist i agree with you…but seabird not sure if u get it or not but when nobby first started jump propper fences he was jumpin to high.! which means to carefull so theyve had to do alot of work not make him jump so big but still disagree with the therory that he jumped low…! i think for a horse that been of so long, on awful ground, jumped tremendous….so will he or won t he………………..lol

Beckster, I don’t want to be proved right (especially if the horse managed to injure himself) but I thought it might be worth considering if he is going to be fancied at Cheltenham.

Don’t think the tricky fences there will allow him to get away with low jumps.

Pretty sure he’s a clever horse Colin. Best Mate never cleared his fences by much but was regarded as a brilliant jumper.

My one worry is they go a tremendous pace in the Arkle and he wouldn’t want to be as far back as he was in the novice hurdle. The horse he beat that day didin’t get the trip apparently or would probably have held on. Fair enough he had Sublimity behind him but he’s overrated in my book.

The Arkle is a whole new ball game and you would hope he can lay up with them. You go to the last in the Arkle 12 lengths down you are going to win nothing.I hope he has matured in the time he has been off and travels better than he has in the past. If he is within a couple of lengths of them jumping the last nothing I can see will live with him.

Would he get 3miles 2f in your opinion Beckie? I thought they said on breeding he would be a 2m4f maximum horse…..No Idea why they would spent money entering him in the RSA wouldn’t run in that if he were mines………one of the toughest races of the season for a novice IMO

well i dont think he jumped low atall , even though ime biased lol, for a horse on 1st run overfences on awful ground think he juped with lots of scope. like ruby said he didunt even give him a stride to last fence yet nobby sorted 1 for hmself cleanly, n unless we were watchin a different race he jumped clean??/(in horses doesent matter how much space they give over a fence,as long as they clear it n make gd shape)……i mean how do you class k,stars jump then??low, ?? and as for the injery thing he got that at pauls before even making it to the track!!!!!!!!!!!! i think he would hopefully make gd q,moth or g,cup horse
but u all gettin ur points n opinions n criticising his jump n speed in the arkle but its not definate or decided if he will even run in it or not yer???????????????? at end of day hes a good horse, and his safety is paramount!!!!!!!!!
