To be fair to Nicky Henderson, Shishkin ran here and both Constitution Hill and Jonbon have run in Graded Novice Hurdles this month.
All the time Henderson respects the Pattern in the Jump racing calendar and doesn’t simply put them away for Cheltenham, I don’t have an issue with him.

May have valid reasons for running or not running, just not the ones he sometimes uses…
But he’s far from the only one seemingly doing that.

By the way Mullins was no different, he wants his horses to have easy routes, picking up easy money along the way.
