Wow the fact I’m still making a profit after 100 points :good: (Morando) lost on Saturday :-(
Is more than expected. Got Young Master in National, but really don’t fancy him anymore so expect to be in the minus after Saturday. However do have an outstanding bet on him. Wished I’d backed my other Antepost bets

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

I wouldn’t give up on TYM just yet. He ran a lot better at Cheltenham and I’m just coming back round to the idea that he could at least be placed on Saturday. We all know SWC’s record round the big fences, he’s got plenty of experience for an 8 year old, nice weight and a touch of class. 20-1 looks very fair.

Three winning bets this time around, BigG scores with Unowhatimeanharry in the Champion Stayers Hurdle @ 4-1 and Triptych finds 2 winners Kool Kompany in the Doncaster Mile @ 10-1 and Eminent in the Craven @ 8-1, well done guys! Also 3 ew returns for VTC, Aintree Bowl (Smad Place @ 20-1), Bet365 Gold Cup (Theatre Guide @ 40-1) and Kilashee Hurdle (Adreamstillalive @ 12-1).

Those 3 returns keep VTC at the top of the table with a 25 point lead.

One extra ew return for VTC with Yorkist placed in the Red Rum Chase @ 20-1 means he now has a 31 point lead at the top. Time is starting to run out for the rest of us.

Triptych lands the Gold Cup on day three with Big Orange at a huge 16-1 and in doing so moves up to 2nd in the overall table. Pat123 also moves up to 3rd thanks to Coronet landing the Ribblesdale at 7-1 but can’t beat the SP of 9-1.

VTC’s overall lead now stands at 50 points and that would have been a lot closer if Ronald R had managed to edge out Bless Him in the Britannia @ 16-1.

Only 50.25 points needed to catch Bobby in just the 2 days then Pat.
All down to Eastern Impact in the Wokingham on Saturday and perhaps Roly Poly might beat Winter tomorrow.

Ronald R ran a great race in second today and just failed to reach Bless Him who got in on a non runner so it could have been his for the taking.
The Gredleys have a great replacement for their sad loss of Franklin D he’s going to get better and better. Jac

I know Jac, I couldn’t help thinking about Franklin D today when Ronald R came so close, he is definitely one to follow.

Hi Pat, it must have been a monumental task keeping score in this competition. To be honest I’m a little disappointed by the bookmakers effort on their Ante Post books. I’m happy to try again. :good:

VTC well done on winning this, although the opening posts you give on various races, show your in-depth knowledge of your subjects, so it’s no surprise to see you win this with a healthy profit. :good:
