Very well done Bobby, you were home and hosed from some way out, that’s a
terrific effort
My ante posts have been a bit of a disaster this year, a big percentage
never making it to post, and most of those that did didn’t really cover
me in glory. I’ve always loved digging out an ante post hopeful, with some
success, but after the year I’ve had I’m going to cut down on them until I
start to see the tide turning. Thanks for running the competition Pat, even though I sunk without trace I did
enjoy it, and I appreciate how much time and effort you must put in to run it
June 26, 2017 at 13:28 #1306597Well done Bobby terrific score
I was kind of hoping I might get a few big prices home at Ascot but the last day was a total washout for my selections but I really enjoyed Big Orange coming home in the Gold Cup at 16/1.
You are top man as far as Ante Post bets go and I can’t really get my head around it always seem to find the one that gets injured or doesn’t run. Cheltenham is a nightmare of trying to second guess exactly which race Mr Mullins will run his horse in and this year Ascot was almost as bad with a lot of top horses with multiple entries.Having said that really enjoyed taking part in this competition and appreciate all the hard work put in by Pat, we all know just what goes into keeping these sort of competitions going and the time and effort involved.
Look forward to the new contest starting next week Pat must try to get a head start on Bobby before the Jumps start
Thanks again Pat and really well done Bobby..you can send Mystic Meg home now  Jac

Can we start selecting then Pat.? Got a few lined up, ready to fire.
Thanks for keeping this comp going Pat, I’ve enjoyed it despite mixed results….

Well done VTC on a really top class effort. He got the ball rolling way back in September with two 33-1 winners (Spark Plug in the Cambridgeshire and Wrath Of Titans in the Kerry National). June 28, 2017 at 12:07 #1306795Thank you for all your efforts Pat, and I really enjoyed taking part. I would love to say my poor performance was a one off, but if I am being honest it is an accurate reflection of my betting history, and thankfully I do not bet much these days on the horses. It will not put me off having another go though

What an unbelievable performance from VtC and as Nathan said you smashed it. Some of your bets were spectacular and you were a very well deserved winner.
