Given an entry in a claimer back at Wolves on Saturday Night,no idea at this stage whether the plan is to run.
Definitely needs six as he got badly outpaced after breaking well and showing up for a couple of furlongs.
Just watched the race he never really seemed to get into it and Catterick may have been just a touch to sharp.
I think maybe giving him a try at 5f at Southwell might be the answer?
What do you think?
He was a bit disappointing.
Broke well enough but didn’t quite get the cover he needs and didn’t really finish with any ooomph.
The main reason for not going to Southwell is the kickback,he would absolutely hate it.
He has had a spell in the doldrums before and then ran up a good consistent sequence of runs.
Maybe age is catching up on him,but he has shown glimpses of form this season Thirsk,Ponty & Ayr) without building on it.
I don’t know if that will be it for the season,he may have one more run.
At this stage the intention is to keep going next season but again I couldn’t say for definite either way.
I’m just glad we ran in the first division,visibilty even worse by the time they got to the last race!
6f has been muted,so we’ll have to see whether we can perhaps find a suitable race over that trip.
It’s soul destroying isn’t it? It’d just be nice to see him come close and get a couple of places at least.

Obviously not speaking in an out of turn way here, you know I’m not like that but what are your thoughts on the entry mate?

Anyways he aint declared,now there’s a 0-50 at Wolves next Thursday which he will surely get an entry for.
